Stormy weather, and calm indoor atmosphere

The location of the villa is not far from the sea, and it is 25 minutes from the center of the city. The apartment was large, with 2 bedrooms and a large living room that included a kitchen. The apartment was completely silent and clean. The host was very nice and gave us many useful tips about Zadar and the surroundings.

A great place to stay with a fine host

What a fantastic holiday, and glad we chose to stay here. We were delayed, but Darko was a fantastic host, and stayed on to meet us with the keys, and as it was late showed us to our room straight away. We saw him the next morning, and he was a great host and guide giving us a map with advice, and restaurants to try (all of which were superb), Our flay was spacious with everything you could possibly need for a stay, and spotlessly clean, with a view from the balcony over the water. It's not right in the centre, but it was nice to stroll along the seafront, and then use the boatman to get to Zadar old town (on advice from Darko). It was so nice to feel so relaxed and well looked after by a great host, in such a nice, quiet peaceful location, that is not too far away from the sights and things to do in Zadar. Would thoroughly recommend staying here for a serene holiday, with the town centre, and old town not too far away and easily walkable.

Almost perfect stay in Zadar!

I’d say this was a truly perfect stay in Zadar — located right by the sea with a stunning view both of the water and the city itself. Even if you stayed in the very center of Zadar, you wouldn’t get such a beautiful view of the Old Town! The apartment is spacious, and all air conditioners were working perfectly. The host was extremely friendly, welcoming, and informative — he gave us a local map, pointed out places of interest, nearby shops, and recommended several nice cafés and restaurants. A recommendation: for an apartment of this level and size, a washing machine would be a great and very useful addition — there’s definitely enough space for it, and we would have gladly used it during our stay.

Although I would rate this accommodation quite highly, there are a few small things that could be improved. The cleaning could be a bit more thorough — while the apartment was generally clean, there was visible dust on upper surfaces and under the beds. We were a group of five (the host welcomed us all and knew this upon our arrival), but no bedding was provided for the youngest child (under 4 years old) — it seems it needs to be requested additionally. The kitchen is quite well-equipped, though it lacks basic essentials like salt and pepper.

Very nice welcome and introduction to the area by the host, who was always available and helpful. Good location for a first time visit to Zadar for access to beach areas, old town and many restaurants nearby. Beautiful view across the sea to the old town especially at night. Well equipped apartment, comfortable bed, efficient air conditioning, towels changed after a few days.

All was good and there was nothing we did not like - provision of a small brush and pan would have been useful for keeping the apartment clean during our 10 day stay. Our stay would have been enhanced even further if there were relaxing chairs and a sunshade on the large balcony.

Excellent location within walking / rowing boat distance from the Old Town. Peaceful. Very helpful informative friendly host. Darko spent time advising us of local places and he went above and beyond to help us with our car. Much appreciated.

Perhaps an armchair beside the sofa in the living room would give more choices to sit.

Property was clean and had a great view. It was near the city center but also close to another fun area of the town that isn’t as busy as the city center.

I was bummed there wasn’t coffee provided. There was a coffee machine and filters but no coffee.

Excellent value for the price. Located right by the beachfront, with convenient on-site parking in the property's yard. The old town is about a 25-minute trip away, and the host is very friendly and helpful, providing all the information you need about Zadar and the surrounding area.

Fantastic short stay in a welcoming city

Great location, good sized apartment. Darko is a welcoming, knowledgeable and very helpful host. The large balcony was a great spot for an early morning coffee watching the busy harbour’s Apartment had everything we needed and is spacious.

Nothing we didn’t like - there is some noise from the larger boats that dock but nothing to worry about.

Great break in Zadar. The host went above and beyond to make sure the stay was memorable. He was always available to help with any questions or needs, and welcomed us with booklets and advice on how to spend our time whilst in Zadar. The restaurants recommended to us were outstanding. The apartment was clean and well facilitated for our stay, with amble space. Would highly recommend.

Darko, the host, was exceptionally friendly and accommodating. He went out of his way to explain the sites and attractions in the area and detailed the easiest ways to get around town. The restaurant recommendations were fantastic. The apartment was spacious and well furnished

Although the apartment is self-catering, small details like a few teabags and coffee sachets would make a huge difference in terms of hospitality - especially for short stay, international visitors who may not buy a box of tea for a 2 night stay or who arrive late in the evening. Depending on the guests in other apartments, the apartment can be noisy

The location was wonderful, and the parking a real bonus. The welcome was faultless. It was very clean and well-equipped. We had everything, and more than we needed for our short stay..

It was a shame there was not a window overlooking the esplanade, also the walls were a bit bare and there was no indirect lighting. A lamp or two in the lounge and dining room would improve the ambience of an otherwise cosy and comfortable niche.

If you need to relax, this is the place to be.

The place is in a quite spot of the town, yet convenient to walk to beaches and the old town. We loved the sea view from our balcony. Our hosts were fabulous and took the time to give us tips in exploring Zadar. We really appreciate their quick response -- nothing was difficult and checkout was a breeze too!
