Bonfim is a great location, quiet but also edgy with cool bars and record stores to check out. Building is great, entrance and hallway is lovely, washing facilities and driers were great in the rain (Feb 2026).
The smell of cigarette smoke through my Aircon the whole time left me with a cough every day. Bathroom was weirdly big but could have done with a bit of a refresh as it was looking quite tired.

The place is very clean. The bathroom a tad bit old but it's doable. Love the place and location. Staff are good and their customer service is A+.

Once inside… it was clean and comfortable.
Albeit the area of location was very run-down.
Although we booked on the morning of our stay, we obviously needed access instructions, but we did not receive any communication from the property prior to our arrival, despite requesting such.
When we did arrive, we called the contact number and then had to complete extensive (biometric) registration details for all three of us, before we were allowed the code to access the exterior of the building. It was 9pm at night and dark and it took over 20 minutes the biometrical upload of our info (passports, or other biometric photo I.D.)
Prior communication and instructions is essential. On this occasion we were failed by the Landlords…
