There are so many great qualities about this apartment. The location is fantastic, one block from a large Continente grocery and a laundry downstairs in the same building. Very short pleasant walk to the Mercado do Bolhão and not far from the City Center. Also one block from the Campo 24 de Agosto metro stop. Very clean and comfortable apartment.
The only issue is there is a dampness problem in the bedroom. Not sure if this comes from the laundry downstairs or some leakage within the building but the wood-laminate floor under the cabinet in the bedroom began to buckle during our stay. Nothing major just bothersome. We had to run the heater or A/C the entire time in the bedroom to help eliminate the dampness.

Quiet part of town easy walk felt like a very local neighbourhood
The apartment was dirty. It wasn't filthy but who ever cleaned it certainly did the bits that were most visible fridge had food stains , dust balls in the corners, and really stained old bedding left in the wardrobe ( should be in the bin really) Also the wifi does not reach the bedroom If they fixed these things i would go back but not before Barely just barely enough water for 2 people to shower before it ran out
