I booked this place because a national train strike was scheduled. When it was announced that the trains were running, I contacted the property via email and asked if they could move the paid reservation to a later date in June. I also tried calling the number listed. The cell number wasn't reachable, and no one ever answered my email.

Good location.

The B&B was closed when I arrived and I had to find another one. I understand that the proprietor was in hospital but nonetheless there should have been an effort to notify me.

Scam. Rio-Off. AVOID!

NOTHING.

No one answered the door. No one answered the phone. There was no reply to text or to email. After hanging around for two hours I left and booked another location. I noticed that B&B was listed as available for 100 Euros more for the same night as my confirmed reservation booked one day earlier. I "tailgated" into the building and became locked in.

Great location and facilities for our visit, there was lots of parking available and the location was a good alternative to Milan

Visit Monza in 1 day

City center itself and the huge park are amazing; this B&B location is far for the center, but very close to free parking if you travel by a car (highly recommended, in this case). Video surveillance cameras in the lobby/breakfast area are correct, making sure to guarantee same breakfast choices to all guests, probably due to bad previous experiences. Lots of free parking available at location, on the roadside.

Communication; staff not present on-site, but on-demand guidelines by phone were good and efficient to access. Pre-charge on card used for reservation 17 days before the stay, identity documents for both guests to be sent via WhatsApp. Breakfast is not daily prepared, nothing fresh is available; the fridge was totally empty. Classic Italian packaged food; it can be improve and better organized (there are two rooms, couple of trays and sticky notes can help splitting items and fridge management). Minimal space for breakfast; no tables available, there are different uncomfortable coloured stools into a narrow aisle. Dishes to be washed after, without soap (sponge only). Room was modern and clean, but in the bathroom there is a time switch light, and shower is too far to activate it alone, so you should be at least in two to avoid a dark shower! Mattress is too tender. For 1 night it is fine.

Disappointing

The appartement was very clean. All beds were made. Apartment was well equipped.

We arrived in the dark at 10 pm. Totally not clear how to find the appartement or how to get in. Very stressful with luggage and 3 kids.

It is a good place to stay

Everything was good. Location was near the city center of Monza. Room was very clean. Staff was helpfull. Breakfast could be better. There were two android TVs.

Bad experience

Not much sadly... inexpensive but the cons far outweighed this!!!!

V difficult to communicate with host about my booking. V bad location and far from the city centre. No shops or restaurants nearby. The b and b (as it calls itself) is NOT a b and b at all! the rooms themselves are in a derelict apartment building...v dark and gloomy... Also no staff around AT ALL for help or guidance! The light in the bathroom kept going off during a shower....so you are plunged into darkness. I think this was a lesson learned in that you get what you pay for!! Photos are not representative either! AVOID!!!!!

OK, but basic

You have your own private room and bathroom.

The room was basic and the check in process wasn't the easiest. A door that was supposed to be open for the checkin, wasn't so someone had to be called. Before the check out time, the cleaning lady was already knocking on the door.

Great apartment - newly furnished and modern.

Very nice newly furnished and modern apartment. The host was very polite and helpful. Free parking in front of the building. Apartment was near bus stations and within 5-10 minutes by bus you are in downtown area and train station. We did not use the car while there because of great public transportation (bus and train). It was even faster by car to reach Milan and Lake Como.

Clean room. The area where the b&b is located is not very inspiring but the place is fine for just 1|2 nights

Breakfast is very limited. This could be definately improved. We had a 'fresh' breakfast in a bar instead.
