Taste of Marseille

The personnel was excellent and very helpful and professional. Location sparkling clean. It has a vintange entrance and I find it a great experience. The breakfast was perfect.

Our stay was fine despite the surroundings to the accommodation.

The room was fine with good facilities. Coffee machine, boiling water machine, microwave and refrigerator.

The entrance and circulation spaces in the property in which the accommodation is situated are ‘industrial’ and not very welcoming.

Modern city apartment

The apartment was simply amazing. Only facility I think it lacks is washing machine, but it wasn't important to me. Superb location for entry & exit into city and to explore the city centre. Christophe, gave me a great run down of what to see and do in Marseille in a map and that was very useful to me.

There were construction works in apartment downstairs, which was loud from morning onwards. But that's no fault to anyone, these things happen.

Lovely central place to stay in Marseille

Good location. Walking distance to vieux port, La Panier, restaurants and shops. Near buses to Notre Dame and beaches. Christophe is a super host who gave us good tips on where to go. He is very friendly and helpful. He renovated his properties elegantly. I like the door that opens up to the terrace. I highly recommend.

beautiful apartment, exceptional host, amazing stay.

the apartment was absolutely beautiful, exceptionally clean and was filled with amenities! we were able to cook food as there were pots/pans, everything you needed. our host (i apologies his name has slipped my mind) was so kind and helpful, he gave us a brochure and a map labelled with some of the best spots and how to get to them on the buses, which we used and had a fab time. he even gave us a lovely little gift at the end of the stay! would 100% come back if i were to ever be in marseille again.

Location is in a very old warehouse (guess). Definitely a different vibe on arrival, but thoroughly enjoyed our staff. Christophe was very personable and ensured we had everything we needed. The breakfast being delivered to our room was something different, but nice, also.

Some construction ongoing in the building so workers right outside our window each morning. Nothing the property could control though.

Perfect stay and brilliant location

What a superb little find! Cute, quirky and everything you need. And the bed!.......so comfortable. I have Fibromyalgia and struggle with beds, I woke pain free every day. Comfier than my own bed! The breakfast every morning was delicious and plentiful and I am missing the homemade jam and marmalade! Tasted incredible. Fantastic host, welcoming and helpful. We'll definitely be back!

Brilliant apartment and superb breakfast.

Despite the street view and the warehouse type interior of the building once Christophe had greeted us and showed us his incredible apartment we had a fantastic stay. Everything is modern, well set out and of a very high standard. The attention to detail was high and the delivered breakfast absolutely delicious and plentiful. Thank you Christophe

Spacious, super clean and tasteful apartment. Conveniently located near the train station and within walking distance of the center of Marseille. The friendly host Christophe lives next to the apartment and is immediately available for all questions. Excellent bathroom, separate toilet. A well-equipped kitchen, with even more than enough coffee pads, tea bags, herbs, etc. Good bed and pillows.

Beautiful Rooms within a Derelict Building

Overall, our accommodation in Marseille had its pros and cons. On the bright side, the owner was absolutely lovely, and the rooms were immaculate and super modern. Breakfast was also a real treat! However, I must admit, I wish I had been forewarned about the building that housed these apartments. It took us completely by surprise. Had we known beforehand, we could have mentally prepared ourselves. I totally understand it’s not the owners fault and honestly he’s a lovely host but I think it would be good to add s few photos of the building so people are aware.

Christophe is a fabulous host, super quick response times and very helpful with check-in and providing local info. The apartment is exceptionally clean and fully equipped with all that you need. Comfortable bed and pillows too. Shower pressure was fine, although you might not want to wash long hair! Location was great for what we wanted to do. Easy walk from the main Metro station too. Superb value for money. Highly recommended.

Perfect room as a base to explore Marseille. Great French breakfast every morning, friendly and attentive host, close to the train station and town centre. Can't fault it! Felt safe with secure access.

As others have noted, it's in an unusual looking industrial building, however this was no problem. We would stay here again.

Great location. You can go to the Vieux-Port easily by walk. Great staff especially Christophe:) We had a great 4 days with my wife. Price was good for this location. I recommend everyone. Have fun!
