Exceptional! Excellent hosts and perfectly placed property with all the facilities you could need.

Everything was just perfect, it was clean, well situated, everything you could possibly need was catered for from a hairdryer, to an iron and ironing board. It was very clean and the garden was well appointed- all delightful. Although near a train line- it truly didn’t disturb or distract. The owners Laure and Mathias were very delightful and helpful. Happy to recommend their cottage and we would be very happy to return!

Book without hesitation. It's amazing!!

The interior of the cottage is absolutely beautiful and very comfortable. The quality of the beds guaranteed a good night's sleep and we also enjoyed the pool every day. Laure and Mathieu, the owners, are lovely and offer helpful advice about local things to do and places to eat - they are amazing and could not make you feel any more welcome. The cottage feels really private and secure and was easy to find, set back off a D road. The local town is very pretty and there is lots to do in the surrounding area. This is our sixth trip to France in the last ten years and this is without doubt the best place we have stayed.

A fantastic place to stay with lovely hosts

The hosts were exceptionally friendly and made us feel tight at home. The gite was fabulous lots of space inside and out. The family cat and her friend were also friendly which we liked as we miss our cats when away. The pool was a great size to swim in with place to sit and relax. It was close to local amenities and also not far from some stunning chateau’s which we visited and thoroughly enjoyed. I would recommend this accommodation to anyone fancying a stay in the Loir Valley.

There were no trays to put things on to go in the oven, and only one rack in the oven. There is no air conditioning although we managed with the fan and the air cooler

Lovely little place in the Loire Valley

Our stay at Cottage l’Oree du Cher was wonderful. Upon arrival we were greeted by the owners who were so friendly, sweet and welcoming. The. cottage is spacious, clean and comfortable. We were able to fix dinner in the well equipped kitchen, relax in the evenings and get a good night’s sleep. Everything we wanted to do was a quick drive away. When we returned from touring, it was great to have private parking. We stayed a few nights and so enjoyed getting to visit a bit with the owners who made our experience so enjoyable. I can’t recommend this property enough!

The hosts were so friendly and we were given a very good personal tour of the property when we arrived. Very generous with extra welcome groceries.

There was a small problem with the bathroom door but it didn't matter.

Laure made us feel so welcome in her guest apartment. Lovely to have a whole place to relax and the wine on arrival is a thoughtful addition. Lots of advice for things to do in the area, toys and space for the kids to play. Thank you for a lovely stay.

De gastvrijheid van Mathis, de spontane praatjes waren zeer aangenaam. We hebben vele praktische tips gekregen om ons verblijf uit te stippelen. Alles was tip top inorde. De tuin, het zwembad zeer mooi aangelegd en verzorgd. Het was aangenaam om op verschillende plaatsen in de tuin te kunnen zitten. We hadden alles in het huisje wat we nodig hadden. Het is zeker een aanrader! Wij komen graag terug!

Nergens in de beoordelingen kon je lezen dat de eigenaars naast het verblijf woonden, en zo deel uitmaakten van je verblijf. Of dat er een trein langs kwam. Dit beiden waren 2 belangrijke elementen die ik graag op voorhand had gelezen. De trein heeft op geen enkel moment gestoord.

Eine super Ferienwohnung mit lieben Gastgebern.

Die Ferienwohnung war sehr geräumig und komfortabel. Die Mitbenutzung des Pools war ebenfalls sehr angenehm . Die privaten Gastgeber waren sehr nett und super Gastfreundlich. Der Abschied ist uns nicht leicht gefallen. Kann man nur empfehlen.

Une jolie parenthèse

Nous sommes tombés sous le charme du logement, de son emplacement et de nos hôtes. Village de Montrichard avec de bonnes tables à tester et/ou pour se promener, proximité du zoo de Beauval et des châteaux, place de parking dans une cour fermée, les consignes de Laure, nos échanges. La piscine... Le logement est charmant, tomettes, pierre... Je conseille fortement à deux ou en famille.

Super séjour

D'abord, l'accueil des propriétaires, souriants et chaleureux. Le gîte est très agréable, on s'y est senti tout de suite bien et il y a tous les équipements nécessaires, le ventilateur de plafond dans la chambre a été très apprécié. L'emplacement a proximité des visites prévues (Chenonceau, Clos Lucé, Beauval,...) est très pratique. La piscine est un plus aussi, on a pu en profiter tous les jours de notre séjour après de chaudes journées de visite.
