Ideal place to stay if you want a bit of peace. Lovely and spacious rooms, plenty of parking around, really quiet. Staff friendly and as a bonus you can see bunnies and ducks on the grounds. Would definitely return

The hotel is stunning, the decor is fab, with a mix of modern and traditional decorations.
The staff are very friendly and helpful, without being "In your Face" nothing seemed too much trouble.
The room was well appointed clean and spacious.
The bed was large and comfortable
and the food was good value for money.
Would stay again if in the area

The room was so musky smelling, a very big dirty path on entry in the carpet, and light switch to bathroom filthy with a built up of grime from years of not being polished clean, did ask the reception to clean it but it never got cleaned ..also the beds were impossible to sleep on as so hard and uncomfortable and the one disabled spot in the car park was constantly taken up by a none disabled car parked their for our duration, did tell reception staff that a non blue badge holder was taking up our only place to park, we had to park a long way from the hotel and walk from the over pill car park ....we had our rooms in the attic part of the hotel and with it not having a lift made it hard for us to climb the many stairs...lovely grounds at the hotel but the room was so basic and nothing like the photos displayed when booking online ....
