The restaurant was limited in its drinks, and any wine it did have was extremely expensive.

My wife and I booked a four night stay at the Tria Hotel and are so pleased that we did. It was very reasonably priced and the location could not have been better - literally a few minutes walk to the Hagia Sofia, Blue Mosque, Basilica Cistern and the Hippodrome. The room was clean and comfortable. Toilet, shower, air conditioner, and safe all worked as they should. Cleaning staff did a wonderful job every day. Just on this basis alone, we would definitely recommend this hotel. However, where this hotel really shines is with their management and staff. We have stayed at many hotels in our lives and we cannot remember ever staying anywhere where we felt so well taken care of. Tolga was simply AMAZING. From the questions we had before arrival, to our check-in, arrangements for early breakfast and airport transportation, and just his good humour and patience with our attempts to speak Turkish, he made us feel welcome, important and cared for. The same goes for Cem in the dining room. The breakfast was wonderful, and Cem was always polite, efficient and friendly. He even opened early on our departure day to accommodate our flight. Tolga, Cem and Sauvi (we hope we spelled his name correctly!) will be among the best memories of our trip to Istanbul and to Turkïye. They are warm, kind and friendly, and represent the best of not just Turkish people, but people everywhere. We were truly touched by their warm hospitality. Kalpten teşekkür ederiz!!

The people working there were very kind and generous. The breakfast was great as read on other reviews. The room I had was spacious and my stay was fantastic.

Nothing- all was good

This is my second time staying at the Tria Hotel…. The first time was in 2010. While both stays were excellent, the renovation, including the gorgeous rooftop restaurant made this stay extra special. All the people at the front desk were so friendly and helpful, and the breakfast was incredible. The rooms are comfortable and clean and decorated very well. The location is excellent. It is in the Sultanahmet, a short walk from the Blue Mosque and the Sophia Hagia, as well as the Cistern and the palace. I highly recommend this hotel! You will love it. Oh…the staff will also arrange airport transfer and tours for you! All excellent.
