Lovely hotel right in the heart of Bad Ischl. The staff were very helpful and accommodating. Storage of extra luggage was available at no cost when we headed out for a week of hiking. The room was large, very comfortable and had a beautiful view of the river and town. The breakfast buffet was exceptional - lots to choose from and fresh delicious food. The on-site restaurant is definitely worth a visit. The train station is a 10 minute walk away. We would happily stay here again.

Good location and friendly team of hotel staff. Hotel breakfast has great selection.
The room is small and the room has poor ventilation. Housekeeping staff also barged into the room with their access cars before check out time. Not value for money as one could get a bigger and cheaper homestay with equivalent or better amenities, including a kitchenette in the area. One could not help but wonder if we are paying for the breakfast or the room.
