We came to Brig for hiking; the hotel is located just opposite Brig train station, which makes it easy to reach all abundant hiking trail in surroundings via train or bus.
Staff (speaking good English) was very welcoming and helpful, all our minor additional requests were met.
Spacious room was cool on our arrival despite yet another heat wave in Switzerland. We got a room on a rear side of the building, and there was no outside noise whatsoever. Our room was refurbished in a modern style with minimum amount of furniture, albeit well sufficient for a short stay.
Parking lot is minuscule, but this was clear when we booked the room. Alternatively, Brig's P+Rail nearby can be used.
Breakfast was not outstanding, but good, with fresh vegetables and fruits (which is not very usual in Switzerland).
We certainly come back for our next hiking break in the area.
