Great location, huge value

The location is awesome, right next to the rue Guttenberg and Grand rue, you can walk all the city in a single day. And, actually, if you're a hiker you can make a brisk walk from the Gare Central in 20 minutes to the hotel - takes the same amount of time with the tram. Staff is super helpful, nice, and friendly and it's a rare gem in French hospitality industry. Breakfast is a great value, fresh baguettes each morning, orange juice, coffee, and few selections, though, fresh. Great value deal.

One floor was under renovation during my stay. The bathroom was extremely small, and the room had a strong paint/chemical smell, so I had to keep the windows open to ventilate.

Friendly workers and good for one night but wouldn’t come back

Decent for a one night sta. Staff were incredibly friendly and helpful.

The hotel looks better in the pictures, or maybe we got an older room. I found the room to be a little dirty and the beds were uncomfortable.

Room was quite basic and dark. No carpets so noise from people walking around in room above woke me up several times.

Dirty. Bed sheets didn’t replaced in 5 days. Towels not replaced and even worse, swapped still dirty between rooms: a brown colored bath towel was placed as a supposed replacement, so we used for feet (on the floor) and left for being replaced but the next day the same brown colored towel was dry and folded like a clean one. Unacceptable.

room smells like sewage with mold

Attentive staff and clean sheets

The room smells like sewage. The room was moldy. The photos on Booking.com are fake. They were all edited in Photoshop. Not even the photos of the room I stayed in are on Booking. The hotel is not maintained. The furniture in the room looks like it was taken from the trash and put in the room. We had to clean the bathroom to be able to use it.

Good location Good size room, the bathroom was splitted into 2 (toilet was separate from the bathtub and sink) Nice staff We could leave our luggage until check-in time They provide also breakfast but we did not take that (10euro/person) All in all, it was ok

Horrible experience, full of bed bugs

Never go to this hotel, it’s full of bedbugs, I had to run in the middle of the night from there as both rooms they provided were full of bedbugs. The owners after almost the month did not refund my money where in fact I did not even stay due to the bed bugs. The worker in the front desk said that this problem was there for a long time but the owner for not want to address it and just think about their pockets. Shame on them. Never stay at this hotel unless you want to spoil your vacation and receive 0 customer service.

Very poor

Microscopically small room, poor cleanliness, dirty towels, human hairs and mould in the shower, no aspirator in the toilet, making the mist from shower and toilet smell very hard to extract. Very disappointed.

Would book again

Cute boutique rooms at a great price for Strausbourg. We were a group staying for an event. Easy walk to event, restaurants, Cathedral, exploring old town, parking and public transportation for all of us to move separately. Allowed early checkin and breakfast was varied. We all left full. Fresh baguettes!

Very central location, easy walk to city and christmas markets. The rooms were small but tastefully and comfortably furnished and clean.

There was a lot of stairs to be climbed with heavy luggage to get to the rooms and at night time it became apparent how thin the walls were as we were woken by footsteps from above or around us.
