Very noisy and quite basic

Good central location.

My main issue was the unbelievable level of noise from the street outside, and the fact the windows seemed to have no sound insulation whatsoever. There are loads of bars and restaurants nearby so the noise went on until 4am and the bin lorries arrived at 5! I raised this with the hotel but they said it wouldn't be quieter in any other room, and that noise was to be expected at a central hotel. I'm very surprised they don't at least offer earplugs in the rooms. Other than this, the facilities were fairly basic. Aircon that didn't work very well and was very noisy, one plug socket in the whole room and it was just underneath the TV, a totally ineffective hairdryer etc.

We probably would not stay there again if it was not for the location, the private parking and the kindness and helpfuln

Location, comfortable matrasses, very friendly staff, possibility of private parking which was a must for us.

Everything is minimum: you don't even a clean coffee cup on the 2nd day. The carpets are discoloured and worn out, the cleaners don't come in the corners.

Everything. To begin with, when we arrived there was nothing but a keypad but we didn't have a PIN so we phoned the number on the booking sheet. We were then informed of the PIN so we could enter. When we got inside, there was an envelope on the sideboard for me and that had the PIN in it. Our room was very stuffy so we turned on the airconditioner. Within about 10 minutes we could hear a noise and it turned out the air con was dripping on the bed and soaked it. We notified the person who came in to do some work about this and they said they would notify the owner to fix it. However, no-one did while we were there. The pillows and mattress very uncomfortable. The bolsters on the bed looked like they were out of the previous century. We ended up opening the windows and the noise from downstairs kept us awake until past midnight. (this also happened on the second night) The writeup I received when I booked stated that there was a coffee machine in the room with a "selection of capsules". We had ONE capsule per cup. NO milk, no sugar, no teabags. Oh, and the "reception" was only available via telephone. No-one on site. About the only good thing about this hotel was the area in which it was located. Plenty of restaurants. The value was nowhere near the amount of money I paid. VERY unhappy with this accommodation.

Nice hotel and very good location in Strasbourg

Everything was perfect ! Cosy and clean room, nice and clean bathroom, helpfull staff. Very good location in the city centre. Coffee mashine with coffee in room. Restaurant at ground floor.

Not great, just ok

The location is optimal, in the middle of the city center, close to the water and places to eat (only bad thing is that there’s a bar in front of the hotel so theres people all night making noise, and so close to the cathedral which rings bells every half an hour for like 10 minutes every time).

It doesnt have an elevator and we stayes in the 4th floor without a heads up (my husband has a knee injury and if was quite hard going up and down every time). The carpets were all stained and dirty (not just the room, the stairs and hallways). The window didnt open fully and there was a weird smell in the room (probably the dirty carpets). There is no reception at all, its kind of like a self service and using a code to enter. Basically this is why i didnt complain to anyone. The toilet paper from the bathroom is NOT toilet paper but some sort of paper napkins. The bed was okay but the pillows where thin as a towel. Like they forgot to put the stuffing inside the pillow. Finally, the key has a huge keychain which is super uncomfortable to carry around.

Perfect location

The location was perfect. And we parked across the bridge at the city parking lot for a reasonable fee. Sometimes they close off the city to traffic so it impossible to park your car in the city center.

We liked the central location as it was easy to find our way around the centre. Good and clean families.

Very nice and helpful staff. Especially the cleaning ladies were very kind and helpful. It was also very nice that I could change my room after the 1st night as my 1st floor room directly above the restaurant was very noisy.

Ask for a quiet room. I had the one with the small balcony at the 4th floor (no elevator) and was the very happy with it.

Location was good

Dark hall ways didn't feel very safe. Front door open to everyone on street. Room was dark and dinghy, definitely not the room pictured. Very small, noisy and no conditioning. It was so bad that we left after 20 minutes and found another hotel.it really was Terrible

There was no elevator, I had to go up and down on the fourth floor with my languages, the room was dark and it had only a small window. There was only one plug in the whole room and that was far away from the bed. The TV of course had no internet connection so you had no option but French channels. The person in the reception was kind but he didn't explain to me about the second internet option so I had no internet all the stay there. The place is quite old and too expensive for this facilities and no breakfast.

Very good

Good position in the centre of Strasburg. The bed was really comfortable. The room had a bath and the windows well insulated the room, which can become noisy due to the pubs on the street. Emmanuel from the restaurant next to the hotel was really friendly and helpful. We could pay the park to him and leave him the keys of the parking garage.

We asked for the instructions on how to get to the private parking before arriving. However, we had no answer by message neither by phone. Basically, you need to first reach the hotel and find a envelope with the keys and the info on where to park. At the end, we solved by leaving the car at Austerlitz parking close to the hotel. After, we moved the car to the private parking.
