Jana is a great host. She is responsive anaccommodating. House has a nice set up on the east side of the lake. Sunsets are amazing. Nice dock and nice lake. The new parts of the house are great, lots of sleeping space in a house that size. The kitchen and living area are all new and are great. Barb next door is also nice and helpful. Saw and heard an eagle in the tree out back, which was very cool.

This property checks all the boxes - and then some. Walk out the door at sun up and fish off your dock? Yep. Rally the kids and inlaws for short day trips to climb dunes, explore shoreline, hike and bike trails? Yep. How about a fire, smores, and listening to sounds of the woods around you? You got it.
We loved this place. The woods on 1 side, a quiet neighbor on the other, and uninterrupted moments on the dock - morning coffee in hand and loons being loony. Kayak rentals for the week are 5 miles away and mooring if you want a boat/pontoon rental. Green Lake is quiet and kayaking around/across won't have to compete with 5,000hp nuttiness. We found renting a pontoon on Long Lake (15 mns away) with it's sandbars, shoreline cruising, and plenty of space to drag the kids on a tube was awesome.
Every property has an item or something not up to one's tastes. Add on a strong price tag and your perspective can lean further that way. This property's serene setting, beautiful common space, and perfect lake front frontage left us feeling good about what we spent our budget on. The host was a text-away and responsive.

Beautiful, clean lake house. Steps from Green Lake - gorgeous views, especially sunrise and sunset. Calm, clean lake water. We enjoyed kayaking on several days. We might have gotten lucky, but we didn't see too many boaters on the lake, and those we did were very respectful and didn't go tearing around making gigantic waves that would have capsized my young kids' kayaks. The house is minutes from Interlochen Arts Academy and State Park, so would be very convenient for anyone interested in those places. About 25-30 minutes from downtown Traverse City, just fine for us. Jana, the property owner, was very kind and communicative before, during, and after our stay. Thanks for a wonderful stay, Jana!

Jana and her beautiful home were amazing for me and my large family's Labor Day getaway! The check in process was seamless and Jana is by far the best house manager we have ever interacted with - kind, inviting, and gracious. Would recommend this home to absolutely anyone!
