About this cabin rental
You have the best of both worlds with this Sweet Retreat, nestled on peaceful all sports Bass Lake with a boat launch to Green Lake right down the road. We also offer a 10% discount on a 7 day rental. The cabin sits on four wooded roaming acres, 200 feet of waterfront with beautiful wildlife. This 2300 square foot home has five bedrooms and two full bathrooms. There is an open floor plan that consists of a spacious living room and full kitchen. An open concept living room with windows covering the entire front of the house for spectacular views of the lake. A patio large enough for your entertainment with table, chairs, a gas assist charcoal grill and reclining lawn chairs to relax in, while you enjoy the sights and sounds of the multi colored fountain in the pond. A (Seasonal) fifty foot dock is in the water, 4 kayaks and 2 paddle boards with adult life jackets are available for your summer fun. Bass Lake is a smaller spring fed all sports lake with lots of fishing and skiing. The gradual sloping sandy lake bottom is perfect for little ones to swim in. Come and enjoy our sandy beach!!

Such a nice house in a quiet area on the lake. I really don’t think the pictures are reflective of how nice this house is. The house is beautiful and clean. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you might need for your family. We had a great time exploring the area with our family.

This property was awesome, to quote my 8 yr old grandson. We had a bed for each of us. Outdoor activities were wonderful. The great room was very spacious & we could all (10) sit at the table for meals. We made some good memories.

Having had other lake vacations in Minnesota and Wisconsin, this was the 1st one in Michigan. While we loved hiking at Sleeping Bears dunes and some great meals out, the real highlights were quality time as a family at this beautiful home including meals together, boating, fishing, s’mores around the campfire, family games, and much laughter and stories. Highly recommend to anyone who wants a great family vacation at the lake! Roger and Gail were so gracious in letting us use everything at the house during our stay.

The house was perfect for us - very clean and newly updated. The kitchen was well-stocked, and having multiple refrigerators was great for our large group. There were plenty of kayaks, floats, and the like for the lake, and it was also easy to take trips to Frankfort on Lake Michigan (about 30 minutes away), Sleeping Bear Dunes and Glen Arbor (45 minutes), and Traverse City (30 minutes to downtown Traverse City). We had a fantastic time seeing this part of the state!
