Great location in Arles but check out layout and stairs beforehand in case this does not suit you.

The location was great with less than a 15 minute walk to Arles train station and numerous buses even closer from which you could easily explore this part of Provence. It was also easy walking into Arles itself and there was an excellent supermarket and Boulangerie within a 10 minutes walk. The host was very helpful in settling us in and providing local information and the bottle of wine and breakfast pack on arrival was very much appreciated.

The stairs to the first and second floors may be a challenge too much for anyone with limited mobility or who doesn't like a vertical drop. Also the stairs from the second floor come out into the second first floor bedroom which also has no storage. There were only 2 of us so this wasn't a problem but personally I would not have wanted to share with others.

Happy stay

It’s very spacious. Can accommodate 6 people. There’s fridge,washing machine. Owner also preprepared food like bread, juice, milk. You feel like home. The owner is very kind. We forgot switch off car light 。 Neighbor informed owner, owner informed us. Really appreciate this.

Awful

Not much. We left a day early.

The staircase was very dangerous. There was no plug in the sink. The cooker didn’t work. The ‘garden’ was nonexistent and the ‘views over the town’ were nothing to write home about. As for ‘24 hour front of house’ that was a lie. In England all of the descriptions would have been judged as pure lies. We should be reimbursed for the night we had paid for and didn’t use.

Nice apartment in the good place, included everything we needed, The host was very friendly.

Little bit difficult to arrive and to park. I am not sure that the bedroom and bathroom on the second floor fit for each older couples.

Superb

Flat not far from the city center. The host gave us keys early afternoon as requested by us and offered wine and first breakfest.

Flat with steep “japanese”stairs to the bedroom, bathroom and toilet which are located at the first floor.

Suitable stay in Arles

It fit our family if 5. It was within decent walking distance to the markets and Old town area. Free parking g was right outside and very convenient. The host was kind and left breakfast for us which were appreciated.

If one is looking for an area with charm, this is not it. It was conveniently located to the main sites in the town. There was AC only on the main floor and not any where the bedrooms are located. There is only one fan for three bedrooms. Also,no hairdryer was provided. It was an OK stay.

the owner was NOT there to meet us upon arrival during the hours he said he would be there. We phoned several times and rang the door bell several times. wait 15-20 minutes. after a long day, we decided to find other accommodations. He finally phoned and we told him what happened, he was very angry when we said we found other accommodations, he hung up abruptly.

Worth considering for exploring Arles.

Very comfortable and cool design of a place, although the spiral staircase might be a challenge for some. Well appointed kitchen and nice outdoor private space. Could comfortably sleep 6, with kids most likely gravitating to the loft. The location is great for exploring Arles.

The host was very friendly and willing to give us all kind of advice. The house is very clean and has all necessary utilities. It´s also very convenient to walk to the town and has street parking right outside of the property. Very spacious and cute.

Great location, only a few minutes away from the city centre. Everything was there in the kitchen and for breakfast which is really appreciated when you only stop for a couple of days. Great host too!

We really enjoyed our stay in Arles and especially, Bouameur and Sanaa's property.

We stayed at the property during mid October. The property located in quite area near central of the city with convenient parking in front of the house. The host, Mr. Bouameur, was very helpful and waiting for us to hand us the key to the house. We had the whole house for four of us. In fact, the house can welcome six guests. The kitchen and dining area were well equiped. The whole area with the price we paid really worth it. I think it is suitable for family or a group of friends.

Actually, there is really nothing that we didn't like. I can think of a few inconvenient that it might cause such as steep steps to go upstair, or only one bathroom/toilet. But to us, it was manageble and the place was really value for money.

Very good

I really enjoyed my stay in Maison Arles. The hosts are super genuine people and they gave us an impeccable welcome upon arrival. Even providing milk, water, orange juice and bread for breakfast so we would feel comfortable. So arriving in Arles made us feel good and secure. The dwelling is very authentic and a lot of effort has been made to make a house feel like a home. I would definitely recommend it for a short trip or even a longer one. The location of the house is central (van gogh's yellow house is 8 mins away)so that was super useful for sightseeing and general vibing around. ,and if you look out from upstairs window Frank gehry's masterpiece ,luma building can be seen and this is tem minute walk,throughly recommended A+++

But if you have a mobility problem, you should be aware that the stairs are a bit steep so you definitely need to careful on them.

Nice little quiet place to enjoy Arles

Very friendly and flexible host, super easy to get and leave the keys. The apartment is very well equipped, and you can find many amenities that make your staying a good experiences.

It was very hot, but that was France in general, I guess the host cannot do anything about it :-P

Great value in a good location!

Adorable, efficient very updated space with everything you need to eat and cook. It is “on the other side of the tracks” just out of the historic center of Arles. an easy 10 minute walk to the train station or Place Voltaire for dinner. I have never used spiral staircases like these to the second and third levels of this well appointed townhome. It had a great blend of old and new elements in the decor, making it a lovely place to stay.

No air conditioning, so we had to sleep with the windows open, letting in bugs, light and a little street noise (mostly a quiet neighborhood).

Lovely little house close to city center, yet quiet. Very friendly host. Even a basic food store was provided to fix an instant breakfast! Coffee machine with ample supply of pads. An amazing experience to know the host lived here with his family.

A great base in Arles

We had a lovely stay in this house. The host was responsive and very friendly - we'd happily come back and stay with them again. The house is a little well-worn in areas, but this was fine considering the cost and convenient location. We also really appreciated the yard and the games in the house.

Great welcome by host. Juice, cereal and other items provided at arrival so makes it very easy. Apartment is 5 minute walk to old town.

Stairs to each level may be difficult for elderly or very young children.

Very welcoming and friendly host. She even left coffee+tea+milk+juice+toast+butter+jam+nutella for the breakfast, and some Xmas chocolate for the kids! Perfectly clean house. Perfect location: close to the old town center, easy parking. Nothing luxury, but very good value for the money!!

Fabulous

This is a charming little flat in the beautiful town of Arles. It is an easy walk to all of the sites. Parking was easy and a supermarket nearby. Our daughter loves the very top floor! Breakfast items and coffee included were a nice addition.

The beds are very uncomfortable. We found sleeping on top of the comforters provided was necessary. Not a problem for our family, but mobility is a must to maneuver the stairs.

Soggiorno breve ma molto piacevole. La casa è molto carina e pulita, vicina al centro della città.

L'alloggio è in posizione comodissima, a dieci minuti a piedi dal centro. La proprietaria è stata molto disponibile per l'orario del check in ed è stata molto gentile nel darci indicazioni per vedere i principali monumenti della città.
