食事が美味しかった。室内ながら池があって、水が流れているのも座っているだけで開放感がありました。

スリッパが使い捨てのものもあると良かったです。

部屋の鍵が昔ながらの鍵まわし開け閉めタイプでセキュリティ、防犯面でやや不安。 老舗ホテルなので仕方ないかもですが。

The staff was extremely friendly, helpful and professional. The baths (Spa) are amazing... A real treat not to be missed. Great Japanese breakfast.

The hotel feels a bit old... I guess you could call it "vintage". It has 1980's or even 1970's "vibes". I kind of liked it but my room had a weird smell (moldy?) which was a bit unpleasant.

Staff were friendly and polite, the onsen bath was big and definitely worth entering. Breakfast was very good - the rice was very delicious. The room also had readily available hot water from a hot water pot, which is definitely a good welcome. Parking is free too, and it is only a short walk from the lake and the station. The lobby also looks fancy and pretty.

The room was old and dirty. Lots of dust in various corners, and the walls were thin enough to hear the people next door, which was made worse with noisy guests staying close by too. Wallpaper was yellow and tearing in various areas. There was also only one plug available to use for phone charging and other electronics, and it is in a corner of the room furthest from the bed - inconvenient enough that the hotel had to provide an extension cord. The standard room I booked showed the age of the hotel - it felt like a refurbished old business hotel from the 80s of the past heydays. Definitely do not recommend booking only the standard room, and if possible do reserve the larger rooms, even if it costs more. It is a shame, because I am sure the rest of the hotel is better than this.
