Absolutely beautiful location, incredibly helpful staff, and very friendly. I didn't know fluent Japanese like I should have when visiting, but the people were exceptionally understanding. Would recommend again and again. Will return next year definitely, and will know the language better to return the favor properly. Thank you very much.

The reason to stay here is the location. Up the hill from the carpark is beautiful Mishakaike Pond and the other way the divine Oshidori Hidden Waterfall and Yokoya Gorge. The breakfast was also delicious. The room was warm as was the futon.
The bathroom areas are in serious need of an upgrade, SERIOUSLY. I left very early one morning so wasn't able to have breakfast. Other places usually provide a breakfast bento to take away. I would have appreciated that given I had paid for it.
