For a base to explore town it was perfect. We would have given this place a 10 with just a little care and attention to

The location was excellent with free parking and it was cleaner than we had expected after looking at the reviews.

Couldn't work the microwave or hob. Heating didn't work but radiators were provided. Needed hoovering under the beds and sofa. Also the light didn't work in my bathroom and it did smell musty and the main shower head didn't work.

Great location and love the contemporary building and furnishings

The location was excellent. We enjoyed walking in the park and the access to the city centre was convenient. The property has good outdoor space and the off street parking is useful

The ventilation could be better as there was some mould in the bathrooms and on the bedroom blinds. It was difficult to get the microwave to work (error code kept appearing), the lamps in the downstairs bedroom didn’t work.

Horrendous. Ruined my mums 60th birthday

Location

Wasn’t clean. Shower didn’t work. Microwave didn’t work. Downstairs smelt damp and mouldy. Chairs were broken at the dining room tables, family member fell off the chair. The outside chairs were rusty and broken. The shower didn’t drain away in the main bathroom. Food stains inside the cutlery drawers. No sink plug for washing up. Tried to settled with customer service but failed to come back to me.

Overall impressively designed property, how to get maximum space from small footprint. Comfortable and good to come home

Location, layout and design, ease of use. Good facilities.

A few maintenance issues, eg kitchen sink plug doesn’t work so not easy to wash up in the sink,handbasin plugs hard to use, balcony doors difficult to lock. Balcony chairs broken and need replacement. Just needs a bit of TLC. A coffee table on the patio would have been nice.

The stay was spoilt by the above condition of the property.

The accommodation was spacious and quite well appointed. the location was great with a park across the road and the town centre within walking distance.

The property was dusty in places, the TV screens and bathrooms. There were cobwebs in many places, the shower heads in one of the ensuite shower rooms. The interior of the cabinet on the wall was dirty and in the other ensuite, the radiator was very rusty. The balcony needed to be swept while the seat of the chairs were chipped and broken. I reported all of these to the owner but he didnt respond.

Very disappointed

The location was good. The apartment layout was nice.

Downstairs en suite bathroom has an overpowering damp or sewer smell emanating from it. It is really terrible and most disappointing. The vent fan makes the most horrific noise when the light is switched on too. Plus, the plug plunger in the sink is broken. There is also no plug for the kitchen sink. The main TV in the lounge does not work on most channels. The TV in the downstairs bedroom does not work at all. I am generally a reasonable person who hardly ever complains, but really? This is pretty poor. At the very least , they should not take any further bookings until the downstairs en suite is sorted somehow. We also had a bailiff show up one day asking for the owner, which probably explains why seemingly no repair work has happened on the property for a while. The location and style of property is very good, but the cons unfortunately outweigh the pros.

Overall a good stay for a couple with a dog.

Location was perfect for dog walks and heading into town. The house was clean and tidy with all the facilities that would be required for a longer stay.

No instructions for the heating controls so it was a bit chilly, but it was just a short stay. There is a damp smell in the lower bedroom, but I never used the room so wasn't that bothered.

Stayed here a few years ago but the place has deteriorated and tried to contact owner and no respons

Good location. Facilities poor. Microwave broken couldn’t use it. One of the induction rings didn’t work on the hob. TV in lower floor bedroom didn’t work. Main TV atmospherics were bad so difficulty watching it. The en-suite in the ground level bedroom flooded when shower was used and the bedroom was cold. Kitchen poorly kitted out, cereal bowls were chipped.

Nice comfortable stay but it could have been a lot better had the host bothered to be kind.

The property is well located, close to the city centre and next to a park. It also had all the amenities that a family require for a comfortable stay.

The host didn't respond to our message or calls. We needed to ask some questions as most of the gadgets at the property were difficult to operate and there were no manuals to be found. Never experienced such uncourteous behaviour from any host. The road outside the property was also a major issue as it was full of deep potholes.

The design of this property is stunning with 2 little outdoor areas, well proportioned bedrooms and living areas and parking for one car. It is beautifully furnished and lit

It would have been perfect except for 2 things: The smell in the downstairs bathroom was bordering on toxic. It will have to be rectified. The amazing kitchen was marred by the microwave not working and the fancy features could do with simple instructions. The road outside the property- over which the owner has no responsibility- is like a war zone .

Lovely property just needed a little better communication

Location was ideal for the Foodie festival we were attending and only ten minutes walk to main town.

We were two couples arriving separately, so had two cars. It wasn’t clear that there was only one space and all the parking in the surrounding streets was for permit holders only with no option to pay for parking. We called the numbers provided many times to check it was OK to drop our luggage in the property early before dropping by off the car at the town centre car parks but nobody answered or called us back after leaving a message. My partner noticed that some areas of the property hadn’t been cleaned properly, upstairs floor, balcony.

The location of the property. Quiet area but within walking distance of town. Nice modern building. Comfy beds and furnishings.

Dining table badly marked due to no place mats or coasters. The outside areas had not been cleaned. Ashtray plus a plant pot full of cigarette ends left. Outside had not been swept and wiped. down. Cobwebs present.

The location to Winchester centre and property layout and its own parking space was most welcome if it not for the awful state of the road which had massive potholes full of water

quite tired internally, downstairs bathroom had a bad smell which is continually reported and needs fixed. wet room needs to have a mop or something to move the water as it runs to the toilet and the heating and boiler were troublesome and continuously needed reset. property also needs two keys as it is impossible to lock the front door and also leave a key in the drop box with a single key. also needs bigger bath towels and also more instructions, for the thermostats in particular. it wasn’t particularly clean on arrival. The road outside had massive potholes.

Very disappointed with the property

There was parking available

As soon as we walked into the house there was an unpleasant odour. It was coming from the downstairs ensuite. We were unable to use it as the smell was terrible and when the door was opened it drifted out into the bedroom and unfortunately that was the only warm room in the whole house. We were glad we were only booked in for one night.

the smell from the downstairs bathroom, but it got better on the second day the more we used the shower so we think just stagnant pipes, left a not to say you had to keep your hand on the kettle as the switch wouldn’t stay down.

Lovely accommodation, everything you needed was provided. Warm and cosy but very modern. Free parking space was brilliant. Very close to the city centre but in a quiet setting overlooking a park. Some nice walks from the door step.

Microwave/grill didn't work and we were depending on the microwave to sterilise baby bottles.

Very disappointing. The host does not make contact when asked to or follow up on his promises.

There was an ensuite to each bedroom.

On arrival, we found the bins and the dishwasher full. The kettle was completely scaled up, the television in the living room and the microwave did not work. The ironing board was broken, the hob did not work properly. The shelves in the bathrooms were filthy. The downstairs bathroom smelt bad and the plug was broken. Your website mentions fruit and wine but there was none.

Excellent modern property in a a great location.

We were in Winchester for my daughter's birthday party and four of us stayed for two nights. The property is well located 15 minutes walk from central Winchester and yet there was off-road parking for one car and the location was quiet. The property was spacious, spotlessly clean, and well furnished.

The ironing board was broken which we only discovered at the last minute when we needed to use it and the downstairs bathroom drains could do with a good clean out to alleviate a bit of a smell.

Dreadful smell of drains in one en suite. Sorted but a smell still remained, maybe coming from sink and shower plugs. No central heating for 24 hours. One electric fire we turned off as plug so hot. No instructions for equipment like cooker which was child locked until owner sorted it. Heated towel rails never worked so towels always damp - no radiators as underfloor heating. Kitchen sink plug does not work. Cigarette ends in pot on balcony.

Good location, two bedrooms with TV in each.

One bathroom very smelly of sewery, not possible to use it and all the bedroom was smelly as well once the door was opened. Few other things not working properly- coffee machine, ironing board etc.

Like the property but unlikely to return due to the previous comments

It was a lovely property in a very good location. Really good to have some outside space to sit out in.

Sadly, we were overwhelmed with an awful smell the minute we opened the door on arrival. Looks like there is a major problem with drains/sewers? The downstairs bedroom and ensuite were particularly bad. As it was prepaid and just a short stay, we made sure we kept windows open while we were inside. Such a shame as it is really a nice and comfortable property!
