    Paradise in Puerto Escondido
LOOK no further , I came here expecting a nice posada , instead I fount paradise , and what is more , I fount a family . This family run posada , is so authentic ,simple , but beautiful , with everything you need and more . They clean your room daily . The family that owns its absolutely beautiful . I was even invited to a local party , After a month traveling solo , I felt at home. The location is divine, away from the craziness of Punta , yet close to the nicest and quietest beaches . Great cafes and restaurants a walk away . They also help you with booking a scooter and tour , with honest prices . Thank you Fernanda and family for this incredible experience.
Having to leave , I could have stayed forever

    I would stay there again!
Wonderful family running hotel. Very basic, that is what I expected but clean and perfect location of maybe 5-10 minute walk to Manzanillo beach. I had a room with no air conditioning but the fan was excellent. The little wade pools were nice when getting back from walking anywhere in the heat for a quick cool down. Very central to everything, 10 min walk to Rinconada or to the night market area and many little restaurants nearby. Safe location and easy access to taxis even though not a major road. The sunsets at the end of the road were stunning.

    Near, quiet, clean and nice
Was just what I wanted. Cute little clean, well kept place near the beach and places to go where I could also sit and read by the pool. The owners are nice and didnt mind my crappy Spanish not being up to the task.
Its was just what I wanted.

Conveniently located, very clean & nice rooms
Very clean rooms and very comfortable beds! Hot shower. Windows covered with mosquito netting so you could let in a breeze, but there is also a fan. Another big plus was the proximity/walking distance to the ADO station and Playa Principal (dolphin watching tours) in one direction as well as several other smaller beaches in the other direction.

    not worth the price
the location is within a few minutes walking to two beautiful beaches. the owner speaks English very well. i liked the mangos falling from the tree!
it‘s not worth the money as it has the standard of a rather simple backpacker‘s stay. the rooms would need a bit attention and mine smelled not good. there is no warm water in the shower, if that‘s important for someone. i was disappointed, the pictures looked so nice

I want to warn anyone considering staying at this place of unhealthy and unclean conditions.
Nothing good to say about this place.
I want to warn anyone considering staying at this place of unhealthy and unclean conditions. I had booked 6 days with my families in two rooms. We decided to leave after the first night because of extreme conditions. We contacted booking.com immediately after arrival and were denied any help at all. They did not listen to their customers but instead claimed that we were offered an upgrade by the hotel which is a complete lie. We were offered nothing at all! Firstly, this is not a hotel. It is simply false marketing calling this place a hotel. Below is a description of all the circumstances. Some of them are extremely severe and entail health hazards. Unclean rooms: uncleaned toilet with faeces, hairs on floor, dead insects on floor, rodent faeces on beds, spider webs hanging from ceilings, leaking and rusty toilet. Severe moulde in one of the bathrooms, and a foul smell of sewer water emerging from shower drain and sink harsh lighting with no lamp screen and more spider webs that hadn’t been cleaned. The room my sons got had no windows at all - instead of window panes it was blocked by flamingo insulation with a giant hole to the outside where rodents and cockroaches could easily enter. The rooms were crawling with cockroaches - booking.com did not inform us about this - there were cockroach poison placed in the bathrooms but to no help at all, but it is clear that the hotel has a huge problem with cockroaches. Ventilators hanging losely from the ceiling about to fall down. There are unsafe electrical wiring in the rooms making it dangerous if you touch it. Huge cracks over and under doors - easy for rodents and cockroaches to get in to the room. Two pools - one meant for kids and one for adults - however the adult one was overrun with children and families with babies, not wearing diapers for swimming, creating a very unsanitary environment. Smaller issues, but still below standard: Not in any of the rooms were there lamp screens on the lights, terrible Wifi

Wish we had found this place sooner.
Wonderful owners, great location, could walk to beach (steep stairs, though) and nearby restaurants. Has a pool.
