Jesus at the front desk is very helpful and his English is near perfect. He is able to offer a lot of tips and suggestions. The facilities are beautiful, including a swimming pool, hammocks and more. We loved having our own small kitchen and refrigerator in the room as well as a coffee pot. Also water refill area!
The only complaint we had was that the room was on a very noisy street. We could not sleep past 7 AM because of the loud noise. The location was very easy to get her around to other places however, the location is a little odd near businesses that make morning noise. Lots of people are working remote at the hotel and we were not making it a bit strange. It’s really a 20 to 30 year-old location.

Good value for the price. The front desk staff was always nice. The cleaning was done very well everyday.
I find the cafe on site quite expensive for a hostel. The pool and the chairs did not seem very clean. The location is not at the ‘tourist’ center so you need to take a collectivo/taxi often.

Really good value , nice pool area and bar and general vibe. Clean rooms and nice staff too! Location is obviously far from nightlife or La Punta buzz but close to playa Manzanillo and some really good restaurants close by too.

The balcony at the room was great, showers were nice and functional
location next to noisy big road, some appliances bit outdated, roof bar was closed

Great hostel; more professional and mature atmosphere with quite a few great people there remote working. Great public facilities, regular events and met a good crew of travellers here of various demographics. Staff were super helpful and really friendly. Very clean and good location for the more local side of PE. Amazing spaces from rooftops bars, jungle pool garden, hammock bar and interior cafe and work rooms.
It’s completely lights out at 11pm - I understand reducing noise, but lights out in the public areas didn’t feel necessary. Dorms could use a table or two and some bunk/bed curtains. Dorm washrooms were a little tight for space.

I loved having a pool. There are also three meeting rooms which was plenty- not so many workers and the wifi was good. Generally the place is quiet, so its easy to din a place to work.
They only have AC in the room at night and they keep it at 27 degrees. The bathroom and kitchen don't feel so clean. It's not sooo easy to connect with people, but they do try to give opportunities. The location is close to centro and Rinconada, but it feels like more is happening on the long beach strip.

The staff were friendly and the outside pool/common area was really lovely with lots of plants and hammocks. My bed was comfy and the room a good size. I also liked that they provided water to refill your bottle with and nice soap to shower with.
The water was unreliable. It was often not hot although it was so hot in general there it wasn't a huge issue overall. It was also rather noisy at night. There was a fairground behind the accommodation which I'm unsure if it is there all the time or not but best to have earplugs just in case.

Casa Losodeli is a little slice of paradise in Puerto. The common area is lush and relaxed, and the rooms are the perfect place to cool down and chill after a day at the beach. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. Coming back to Casa Losodeli at the end of each day was a treat. Can't recommend it enough.
The WiFi in our room was a bit weak. But the WiFi in the common area was great!

I had an amazing stay at this hostel! The location is great, close to two beaches and only 20 minutes by collectivo to La Punta. The pool is the social heart of the hostel and made it easy to meet people from all over the world. The staff were super helpful and created a really good, fun vibe.
I originally planned a short stay but ended up extending twice because I loved it so much. The mix of ages was a big plus for me — as someone in my 30s I felt very comfortable and welcomed.
Overall, this hostel has the perfect combination of great amenities, a friendly atmosphere, and the best people. Would definitely come back❤️❤️
Nothing I didn't like.

quite a social place with a mix of spanish/ english speakers (although more spanish) and activities most evenings.
We had a Studio room which was amazing, huge bed, very spacious and an amazing shower.
The staff are super lovely and always ready to help.
The pool and communal toilets and showers are a great addition to have.
We were allowed to drop bags early and use the facilities whilst we waited for the room to be ready and then stay after we checked out until about 6pm which was really helpful- thanks to the hostel.
The kitchen in the studio room needs a few more utensils/ pots & pans for cooking.
Location is good but can still hear some traffic as it’s near a main road and note it’s about 15 minute walk to the nearest beach (fine for us but just check before booking)

The facility and staff are excellent!
The daily and night time noise from an adjacent business was a dusturbance and distraction to the beautiful facility atmosphere.

Mini “bar” and cafe downstairs was night to have coming in on late pm flight.
Rooms are bare minimum for an experienced
traveler looking somewhere decent to crash after a a late night flight. Half dead cockroach in bathroom. Staff at front desk didn’t seem to care about the 50lb backpacks on our backs, he continued chatting with a friend for nearly 15 minutes when we arrived exhausted and dripping in sweat before checking us in.

This hostel was probably the reason why I liked staying in Puerto Escondido - easygoing space, not too much going on, so it's great for working - but enough that you can meet people there. The staff is super friendly, especially Jesus is a gem. The volunteers at the place did a great job at trying to drum up people for social events, though many were doing their own things.
Had a hard time booking a scooter through reception. So ended up using the free rental bikes which are definitely not made for 1,80 meter people, but thats a minor thing!

I stayed in a private room
- Solid WiFi
- GREAT air conditioning (very powerful)
- The room is huge!
- Staff was chill
- Connected cafe was good for a quick caffeine source
- Unlimited free drinking water!
- Seemed like a lot of guest events to attend, but I was off doing other stuff with friends so didn't try them
- No hair dryer
- No onsite laundry
- Shower soap holder falls off the wall very easily
- There's no "do not disturb" option to put on your door, so if housekeeping comes when you are away they will shut off your air conditioning
- Bathroom mirror was not parallel with the wall so I had to duck down to see my face
- The bed just contains a single sheet, no comforter or blanket, which I like the feeling of when sleeping.
- Room had a lot of dirty/dust on the floor. My feet literally turned black walking around.
- When you check in they put a bright colorful wrist band on you that falls off after an hour and they never check for it anyway.
- Private room cost 4x the amount as dorm room bed. Not really worth it.

Great location to walk to the beautiful beaches for swimming. A nice social hostel but not a loud party hostel so idea for solo travel or work. The pool was very ideal for the sometimes extreme heat!

Everything was very clean, comfortable rooms and a very nice pool with sunbeds and seats. The café next to the hostel offers good breakfast. It was very quiet at night and a calm vibe during the day.
You need to take a colectivo (12 pesos) or taxi to get to zicatela beach o la punta. You can walk to puerto angelito o manzanillo ~10 min. To enjoy the beach life and vibe it's nicer to be closer to zicatela.

The pool area, friendly staff and great location are key advantages for this place. Also their internet speed is very good and you can work remotely without any issues. I'd love to send huge thanks to Sasha, one of their staff people who was super helpful and friendly!

Me as a digital nomad was looking for a nice place with good internet. This place has an ultra fast wifi and a lot of space to work (inside the room, backyard, rooftop...). The pool is also very nice to refresh from the crazy Puerto Escondido heat! Great place to make friends and they offer heaps of activities in the mornings and evenings. Good location: 10 min walk from the beach and from the supermarket.
