Quite disappointed

- we were not happy with the place and they were flexible with cancelling reservation at check in with a full refund which was really nice of them - the reason was we had older family members and location and rooms were not accessible friendly for them, also with rains there was water stagnant in different parts of the property

- not suggested for families with older people as it is quite steep and steps to reach rooms which aren't suitable for them - we went more in rainy season and there was a bit of water standing in different areas and didn't feel very clean - definitely disappointed compared to pictures - it is nowhere near a resort vibe so if you're ok with more simple stay with younger people might work out - route to stay is very steep and narrow roads and quite off the main street. Not suitable if you don't have a transport way

A beautiful place with a lovely pool

The staff here are the loveliest people ever. They really go out of their way to make sure that everything is going smoothly and that you're happy. If you have any problems, they will see to it right away. The little villas have a huge bed and are very spacious with a lovely balcony. Mine looked onto a jungle of trees. If I turned off the lights, I could see fireflies. And I spotted a cerulean blue Kingfisher several times! I had a fabulous massage with a lady masseuse who came to the hotel. The pool is really lovely. The setting of this hotel is really special.

This is NOT the fault of the hotel, but the noise over New Year's Eve was unbearable because of all the fireworks.🧨 About every three seconds (and I'm seriously not exaggerating) a deafening bang would go off. This went on for 10 hours straight And then started again the next day. I am mentioning it here because I think the hotels need to get together and speak to the heads of the villages and stop this horrible noise pollution that must also be very dangerous, because it's just becoming a plague and it is not part of Balinese culture anyway. They have adopted a western tradition and gone rampant with it. Nobody likes it. It's a load of young boys getting their kicks lighting fireworks and yet it feels pretty scary and literally like being in a war zone! I spoke to several Balinese and they too cannot stand it. And are frightened to leave their homes in case of getting injured. Their New Year (in March) is interestingly called Silent Day! A day where they are not allowed to even drive a scooter! So don't come here on New Year's Eve if you value peace and tranquility. Other than that, this place is gorgeous and all the people who run it and who work here are really friendly and caring.

A great jungle retreat getaway for a few days. So reasonably priced. Loved the oool and the various massage packages. So

Loved the location beside the jungle. Simple wooden bungalows. Quiet, secluded. Sounds of nature all around. The pool was great. Nice and deep and refreshingly cool.

Quite remote, so we only ate at the hotel. Limited menu. Though what we had was fresh and generous and very reasonably priced. The bathroom was down 2 steep steps. A little awkward with using the toilet but got used to it.

Amazing stay in the jungle

We had an amazing stay. The hotel is far from the hussle, in the jungle. You can tell it’s a bit old but it’s making it charming. The room was comfortable and the view was insane ! The staff was very helpful and friendly. We ate passion fruits out of the tree every morning !

Amazing, will be coming back.

Amazing property right in the jungle. Bungalows are so beautiful out looking the lush jungle right on your balcony. Room was very big with a beautiful shower that got very hot which was nice. Staff was very kind.

This property is amazing. The breakfast they include in the mornings where nothing special but nice to have as an option. Location isn’t the best if you don’t have a bike but a great place to get away from the chaos of Ubud.

Wonderful stay near Ubud

Little hotel away from the crowds. Spacious room equipped with every you need. Big super comfy bed. We had a wonderful stay! Staff is really kind, and you can rent scooter and organise daily trips directly on site. Food at the restaurant is simple but tasty.

It was the best place in Bali!

This is a hidden gem! Beautiful nature, big cozy rooms, great breakfast, big portions of food, we ate our dinners and sometimes lunches at the Song Broek! the stuff are so nice, the pool and a view is awesome! The place is more beautiful than in pictures. it is a little outside of everything but that is the great when you want some peace, we rented a scooter so we didnt have any problems and the great locations like tegalallang terrace for exemple are very near.

we had a big problem with the mouse in our room who visited us every night and we couldnt sleep because of it, it could somehow get in to our room through the roof, but we had some food in our cabin - we had bread that was unopened and closed in its plastic, and some chocolate bars that the mouse sensed. we talked to other guests and they had great sleep and no animals in the room, so that was just our bad luck!

Peaceful, clean, affordable, friendly and helpful staff.

This place is great and serious value for money. Rooms are fine, cleaned every morning. Breakfast is included and always very welcome. I had no problems with wifi. Honestly just for value for money alone makes this place great.

Its a little hard to get to, sometimes my Gojek (uber) might struggle to find it, but they always got there in the end. Otherwise nothing else that really was of issue.

Beautiful setting, in the jungle, very peaceful. Comfortable big room, hot water shower.

The bathroom was open and some animals/insects would come in, but no surprise since you’re in the jungle. Do not leave any food in the room.

Loved the setting but 2 days was enough

I loved being in a local town without many tourists. Made me feel more immersed in the culture. The pool was nice and I loved the setting, being in the jungle was amazing. The pictures don’t do the property justice

Roosters woke me up at 6am and were crowing nonstop so I barely slept my last night (maybe 4 hours?). So that kinda sucked. The shower had about 2 minutes of hot water before it went cold. And while I loved being in a local village the downside was that it was basically impossible to get grab so had to fork out more money for taxi. The breakfast wasn’t so great either (instant coffee and hard fruit).

One of the best places I have ever stayed

This place is a hidden oasis but what makes it even better is the location. Payangan is fortunately not overcrowded Ubud, still have local spirit untouched by tourism and the people are incredible. It’s hard to put it in words but I was leaving Payangan with tears in my eyes <3

It was absolutely wonderful. Bed was big enough and clean,very comfortable. The view of my room is memorable. the group of staffs are kind and excellent. Helpful and always smiling. Breakfast was good. Just everything is excellent. I Highly recommended

Beautiful but damp jungle rooms far from anything

The place was beautiful, in the middle of the Balinese jungle! The pool was gorgeous and the cabins too. Breakfast was great too, with different options to choose from and there was an option to request it as floating in the pool and the staff were great about taking pictures. There was a kettle in the room which I also really appreciated as I like drinking tea at night.

Although the cabins were beautiful, they smelled moldy and damp. The floating breakfast was expensive which did not make sense, since breakfast is already included in the cost so the price should technically be just for bringing it to the pool. There are very few options to choose from in the restaurant and the place is quite far from Ubud so you either have to spend a ton on transportation, rent your own car or eat the bad food they offer. Although they arranged airport transport, the location is very far and the driver was slightly creepy, like many in Bali, unfortunately, and he wanted to snap a picture, which was not ok.

Leider total in die Jahre gekommen..Häuser und Terrassen total veraltet Das Bad war wackelig da die Toilette ständig ausgelaufen ist und unter dem Wasserhahn am Waschbecken konnte man sich nicht mal die Hände waschen Es sind 7-8 Nacktschnecken an den Wänden im Bad gelaufen .. Unter unseren Haus viel Müll .. Frühstück lächerlich Leider nicht zu empfehlen

Chalets propre et calme avec vue incroyable sur jungle luxuriante

Hôtel dans un cadre fabuleux en pleine jungle, pas d'animaux "bizard",. Piscine au too, personnel très souriant et très sympathique . Peut de moustique. La photo que j'ajoute est prise de ma terrasse un matin, ça montre l'aspect magnifique de l'endroit. Village à 500m . Chalet très propre et au calme Repas variés et savoureux au prix généralement autour de 4 euros. Petit déjeuner inclus mais là, c'est une autre histoire.

Le petit déjeuner occidental est à mon sens un peut juste.ttres peut de pain, pas de beurre mais il y a de la confiture. Oeufs, riz, etc à disposition, mais pour ceux comme moi qui veulent pain beurre confiture, vous risquez d'être frustré...ou bien allez hacheter des brioches ou gâteaux à l'épicerie à côté de lhotel.( c'est ce que j'ai fais) cela ne coûte quasiment rien.

Es perfecto! La paz en medio de Ubud. Sales del bullicio y puro silencio, nada más la fauna que habita la zona. Habitación amplia, cama comodisima, personal súper atento.

Prachtig hotel in de natuur. Mooie huisjes en heerlijk zwembad. De locatie is leuk, buiten het drukke ubud en in een leuk local dorp, een authentieke markt op loop afstand waar savond veel foodtrucks staan. We hebben een heerlijke massage geboekt bij het hotel, dit is een aanrader

We wilden er iets avond eten en de bediening was er niet zo goed. We moesten zoeken naar personeel. 30 minuten taxi van Ubud, geen probleem voor ons.

Einfach ein traumhaftes kleines Resort um zu entspannen aber mit einer sehr guten Lage um auch nach Ubud etc. zu fahren.

Die ruhige Lage und die wirklich sehr gut ausgestatteten Bungalows.
