Felt like Home.

I felt like home. Host very kind and patient, answered our million of questions, fed us with very tasty home-made food, cakes and bananas, cleaned our room daily, rented us a scooter, organised a Bromo trip, helped with laundry and with charger adapter. Thank you very much for your hospitality.

Very disappointing experience — we had to cancel and move to another hotel

Nothing, unfortunately.

When we arrived around 9 PM, we were told the hotel was fully booked and were taken instead to a small room in the owner’s house inside a Balinese compound. It had no view, no service, and was completely different from what we booked. The property is also far away, so we wasted a lot of time getting there. It felt like the staff expected tired travelers to simply accept this situation

Experience Warmth, Joy, and Smiles with This Wonderful Family!

To tell you the truth, there are definitely some aspects of the accommodation that could be improved, as is the case everywhere. However, I can forgive everything because of how wonderfully the staff treated me. I felt like a part of the family. I had the opportunity to plant rice, attend a traditional ceremony, and experience authentic Balinese food. I even received tips on what to visit nearby. Thank you very much, Ketut and family, for this memorable experience. All the best to you and your family!

Well the location is far from city crowds and loud noise of roads so I love personally quite forest area which I have enjoyed and morning walk in rice field was amazing

The owners are so sweet and kind and are always ready to help. Its a spacious room with comfortable bathroom. The owner and his whole family helped us whenever they could and it was a pleasure to stay with them.

Wonderful stay!

The family was incredibly kind and helped me with anything I needed. I felt truly welcomed and cared for. The breakfast was always provided and absolutely delicious. The guesthouse is peaceful and clean. I’d definitely come back!

The friendliest people!

We really enjoyed our stay at Vaneka Garden House! The family here are the most lovely and caring people. They are so friendly and we felt very welcome! Also the food was great, and the common area was nice.

The only thing that could be better was the humidity in the room. Maybe we were unlucky, but the room was quite humid and smelled of mold. But the AC helped a lot.

Great Stay with Friendly Hosts

The Vaneka family is very hospitable, they helped us with everything. You can rent a scooter there, and they can also assist with scheduling activities. The neighborhood is quiet and relaxing. In front of the rooms, there is a hall with sofas and coffee tables, creating a cozy common area. They also have a shared kitchen with some basic equipment, not much, but enough to prepare simple meals. A fridge is also available for guests. Overall, it's a great deal, especially with the included breakfast, which was absolutely delicious.

Really friendly staff and a lovely room

The staff are seriously friendly and asked us everyday what we'd like for breakfast. They cleaned our room everyday. The showers good and strong with a great size bathroom. The reception area can be off putting but the rooms are really good.

It can be a little noisy from the road but just bring earplugs like you need everywhere in Bali anyway.

Lovely stay

Hot shower, comfortable bed, nice room and quiet area with some restaurants, rice fields and they also have a beautiful garden. We rent a motorbike with them and was really good. Breakfast was delicious and they do a service room everyday! Lovely stay!

The stuff is amazing! They're really helpful and kind. The breakfast is really tasteful. You always hear the river's sound. No traffic, the room is like hotel room comfy, it's clean and new. Wifi is good.

It's 20 minutes far from Ubud center by scooter. So the location is not central be aware of that. The room was little small. So if you wanna do some yoga or work in the room, there is no availability, but when you go out of the room, there are sofas and tables to eat, work.

The staff were INCREDIBLE. So kind and accommodating and helpful, we'd come back just for them.

There were 1-2 geckos on the walls of the room, but I think this is quite common in Ubud.

Super distante das atrações e do centro de Ubud. De carro eram meia hora de distância. Nenhum restaurante próximo para as refeições. O café da manhã era bem básico sem permissão para repetir uma xícara de café.

Die Gastgeber waren nett und hilfsbereit, das Essen lecker.

Lage direkt an einer Hauptverkehrsstraße kurz vor einer Kurve, dadurch war es auch Nachts noch laut. Im Zimmer ging es aber, da es nicht direkt zur Straße lag.

Frühstück aufs Zimmer, langes Ausschlafen war möglich, Wir wurden zum nächsten Hotel gebracht und unterwegs gab es noch einen Aufenthalt auf einer Kaffeeplantage.
