There were all appliances we needed, everything was comfortable and clean, it was easy to check in, the owners were accessible and nice. The surroundings are also very beautiful. Overall we had a very nice stay.

There were no bin bags. It’s a shame there is no fence and the cabin is next to the road - but this is only because we were there with our dog and it would be better for him to be able to run around free. But if people don’t have a dog, it’s not a problem.

Very nice house and good location to explore the French Ardennes.

Good, functional house. It has all we needed and is distant enough from the next one. We had dinner outside and watched the cows. We could easily reach the places we wanted to visit in a short time (driving). Beds were comfortable and the shower had good pressure. Lots of windows in the kitchen/diner to create a breeze on hot days.

There’s no trees around the house so it can get quite hot. An additional empty cupboard or even shelves in the bedrooms and kitchen would have been useful to store bedding and supplies. A curtain on the front door would add some privacy.

Super chilling and mooi bos!

Nice location - we did a few days mountin biking through the forests from here. The small town near by (Rocroi) is very interesting and a great boulangerie!

Nothing really - a bit of confusion on picking up the key, but that was my fault for not reading the instructions properly. Also don't take credit cards but not a major problem as they were great waiting a few days until i paid them.

Wonderful cottage close to beautiful lake

The cottage is in an excellent condition, very good value. It is a close drive to the beautiful Vieilles Forges lake. About 25 minutes away lies Charleville-Mézières, where you can enjoy its wonderful and very large Place Ducale, and perhaps have a drink, lunch or diner there. We also did the Fantasticable in Fumay, highly recommended if you are into that sort of thing. Catherine is an excellent host. She runs a sports cafe close by, we dropped by later in the evening and ended up playing pool billiards with some of the regulars. Happy times :-)

Ideale uitvalsbasis om mooie boswandelingen te maken!

De chalet is een ideale uitvalsbasis om mooie wandelingen te maken. De keuken is meer dan voldoende uitgerust om zelf te koken. De prijs is ook heel laag, wat leuk is, maar ik betaalde liever een klein beetje meer voor wat meer comfort.

Het allerjammerste is eigenlijk dat de chalet verkeerd ingepland staat. Het overdekte terras en groot raam kijken uit op de parking en de straat. Aan de andere kant zie je door het kleine keukenraam een prachtig uitzicht! Gewoon jammer eigenlijk... Wat wél aangepast kan worden om de chalet iets comfortabeler te maken: het bed en de zetel. Het bed is 140cm wat eigenlijk te klein is om met 2 comfortabel te slapen. De zetel is aan vervanging toe. En om het echt af te maken: de verlichting gezelliger maken door verschillende lampjes te voorzien. De 2 felle lichtpunten aan het plafond zorgen nu voor een wat kille sfeer. Kortom: heel vriendelijke eigenaars, maar de chalet heeft een beetje sfeer en gezelligheid nodig.

Het was even zoeken welk huisje en de sleutel maar uiteindelijk prima geregeld!

Voor een wandelweek was dit een uitstekende uitvalshoek naar wandellussen in de buurt.

De rust en de nabijheid ( Ong. 3 km) van een supermarkt en een bakker. Vriendelijke en behulpzame verhuurders. Het uitchecken hoefde niet stipt om 10u te gebeuren maar mocht wat later.

Er was geen beddengoed of badhanddoek voorzien zodat ik dat nog extra heb moeten aankopen. Mijn schuld want het was duidelijk aangestipt in de correspondentie met de verhuurder.

Magnifique chalet , très bien aménagé (cuisne équipé, vaisselle et ustensiles de cuisines , sanitaires !!) Un endroit calme et apaisant au milieu de la nature en pleine campagne .!! Tout les commerces et services à proximité. Un magnifique accueil de la part des propriétaires, et une grande disponibilité en cas de besoin ou de renseignements !!😉😉

Un petit de rangement dans la cuisine au dessus du plan de cuisson pour les courses, car placards très bien fourni en vaisselles et ustensiles ,serait le petit +. ☺️ (mais c est chipoter pour le coup ) Et si jeunes enfants , escalier raides façon echelle (nous n avons eus de soucis car l étage était pour les ados 😁😁)

Merveilleux week-end

Deuxième séjour dans ce magnifique petit chalet plein de charme, et toujours un vrai coup de cœur ! L’endroit est idéalement situé, au calme, décoré avec goût et parfaitement aménagé avec tout le nécessaire pour un séjour confortable. Lors de notre première visite, nous avions été accueillis par le propriétaire, d’une grande gentillesse et très disponible. Cette fois, c’est leur fille qui nous a reçus, tout aussi charmante, accueillante et attentionnée. Les deux séjours ont été parfaits, et nous avons déjà hâte d’y revenir. Un lieu vraiment merveilleux que je ne peux que recommander les yeux fermés !

Een huisje wat een mooi uitzicht had!

Het huisje stond helemaal vrij met een grote oprit! Je kon rondom het huisje ver weg kijken. Het was heel erg rustig. Wij hadden geen last van de weg.

Er was nogal wat achterstallig onderhoud, zoals rolluiken die stuk waren, of helemaal niet meer aanwezig waren. Klinken die stuk waren van de kast. Ook waren er veel lampen stuk of zaten er niet in en jammer dat er boven de kookplaat geen afzuigkap hangt , waardoor je met kooklucht in het huis zit en daardoor zit er ook geen lamp boven de kookplaat, zodat je weinig ziet.

Tout, l'accueil, le logement, la vue,... un accueil très chaleureux du propriétaire, un logement ou on se sent vraiment bien, tout le nécessaire disponible, chambres au top. Nous espérons pouvoir y revenir prochainement.

Inoubliable .

Tout était parfait je ne m attendais pas du tout à ça le chalet est tout simplement parfait on ne manque de rien (vaisselle salle de bains cuisine équiper et j en passe ) le propriétaire des lieux est a l écoute et très sympathique je compte bien y revenir merci à Catherine et Fanfan vous avez étaient parfait .

Hytten var udemærket og lå i hyggelige omgivelser

Manglende rengøring beskidte gryder og andet service og udlejer var svær at få fat i både på ankomst dagen for at få en adresse vi måtte igennem kundeservice og måtte finde alternativ måde at få betalt for hytten da udlejer ikke var tilgængelig endnu en gang trods henvendelse ang betaling flere gange hvilket ikke er optimalt
