Chalet de la fée Marion et Alice

Locatie is lekker rustig, aan de rand van dicht bebost gebied. En toch op een paar minuten reiden van de bekende winkels. Het huisje is knus en normaal, geen overdreven luxe maar gewoon een huisje waarin geleefd word. De douche en toilet zijn wat krap, moor voldoende functioneel, de staat van het interieur is acceptabel en alles wat je nodig hebt is in de keuken aanwezig. De auto kan naast het huisje geparkeerd worden wat ook erg prettig is. Al met al tevreden ( reisgezelschap 2 volwassenen+peuter )

Wat viel er tegen.... Ik hed mijn verwachtingen op basis van de Prijs en recenties goed ingeschat . Dus ik heb geen tegenvallers .

Il y a plus d'équipements que prévu (notamment billard, taque de cuisson). Même s'il n'y a pas de jardin propre au logement, il y a un équivalent jardin juste en-dessous des terrasses.

Malheureusement petit souci avec les bonbonnes de gaz.

The cottage forms part of a fairly large camping complex a few kilometres from the city of Virton. It is located in a quiet area. The cottage has a well-equipped kitchen and 2 small bedrooms (each room having a sink, which is convenient; the rooms are so small that it is not possible to open a suitcase).

The keys are to be found in a keybox at the frontdoor, which works well (the entrance code is also communicated well in advance). It was rather difficult, however, to find the exact location, so we needed to call the owner (the cottages all have fency fairytale style names in the Booking.com system, though in reality none has such name, only a number...). Nobody answered the phone, so we had to leave a voice mail message - which remains unanswered (we are even back home in the meantime !). The place does not provide bed linen and towels (admit that the presence of these are not among the items listed in the property description, but it would be helpful that the absence of these items were more clearly mentioned). It was extremely disappointing that on arrival the full garbage bin of the previous customers was still there. Check-in can only be after 5 pm, check-out time is 11 am. This leaves 6 hours which should be enough for cleaning, but a full garbage bin does not really look as a sign of cleaning, what a shame ! There is a container park at a few metres from the cottage, and the property instructions says the cottage key fits on the container park gate. This, however, is NOT true, so throwing away the garbage is not possible ! Perhaps the previous customers experienced this as well and therefore left their garbage. No blame on them, however, but full blame to the inexisting "cleaning staff".
