Villa Ayche

We stayed here as we were going to a wedding at a hotel close by. It's a 30 minute taxi ride from Marrakech so there are no bars or shops etc near. Our room was spacious and comfortable and as we were the only guests we had the pool and gardens to ourselves. Ismael was really helpful and we communicated with him in Spanish via WhatsApp (it was the one language we had in common!) to order drinks, food and taxis. Nothing was too much trouble for him. All meals are taken in the lovely gardens - breakfast of fruit, eggs, pancakes, bread, juice etc. and we enjoyed tajines and couscous dishes in the evening at very reasonable prices.

Ismael mentioned that this is more popular with local rather than international visitors and it felt like a place to book for a function or family event, but it didn't stop us enjoying the peace and relaxation for a few days.

We really enjoyed our stay. The property has a large, beautiful garden, perfect for children, with a small bird farm and two playful dogs. Located in a quiet village very close to Marrakech (25 min. by car), it’s peaceful and perfect for relaxing. The rooms were clean and traditionally decorated. The team was friendly and welcoming, happy to share local tricks about the area and visits to Marrakech.

The only minor downside was that the room could have been a bit brighter with more natural light.

We had a spacious room with AC, secured parking and a swimming pool. Plus a beautiful garden. But above all a very nice host who made us feel home!

TV didn’t work

Le Personnel, et principalement Mr Ismail qui a été aux petits soins pour nous une personne avec un grand cœur ❤️ un sens du dévouement et de l’accueil exceptionnel La petite piscine est bien aussi, le jardin est joli aussi Les petits déjeuners copieux et maison

La distance de Marrakech ça fait loin et long en bus, la villa demande une grande rénovation générale, les jeux pour enfants très mauvaise état, les infrastructures, chambres sont dégradé la salle de bain mal pensée c’est inondé quand on prend une douche, sur les photos de booking ça correspond à des années en arrière, la villa a subi des intempéries pendant notre séjour et nous avons dû quitter l’établissement car des infiltrations d’eau par les plafonds dans les chambres Dommage le patron du site n’a pas voulu nous dédommager. Les nuits n’ont passées sur site et n’est pas venu nous voir le matin de notre départ, heureusement sont dévoués employés étaient là et plus qu’ exceptionnel du coup nous avons eu des frais en plus, car nous avons dû louer un hôtel à Marakech en dernier recours, ce qui n’était pas prévu dans notre budget financier Nous avions réservé 11 jours et nous sommes partis au bout de 5j ce qui nous a donné envie de rester au début c’est l’accueil de Monsieur Ismaël
