Daniel's Apartments Split

The only downside was location that was a lot further out of Split than we were lead to believe, meant we had to use Ubers for every outing.

Der Ausblick von der Terrasse auf das Meer war herrlich. Das Apartment war recht geräumig und für 2 Personen ideal. Waschmaschine und Geschirrspüler haben funktioniert (am 2ten Tag wurde eine neue Waschmaschine installiert). Uns wurde die Garage für das Abstellen der E- Bikes angeboten (Danke nochmal), Parkplatz für das Auto quasi vor der Tür. Der Pool war sehr sauber und angenehm.

Bitte unbedingt einen Sonnenschutz installieren (einfacher Sonnenschirm würde genügen, eine Markise/ Sonnensegel wären noch besser), da man von morgens bis abends auf der Terrasse volle Sonne hatte. Die Klimaanlagen waren an der Hauswand montiert und unser Schlafzimmer lag leider an der selben Außenwand (hat manchmal gestört). Das Bett hätte ruhig etwas weicher sein können (harte Matratze und sehr einfacher Lattenrost). Fliegenschutzgitter- zumindest im Schlafzimmer- wären auch super gesesen.

The apartment was very spacious with all the comforts one has at home. A balcony with shade had a great sea view and the bed was large and comfortable enough. It’s also really convenient to have a washing machine; in summer, clothing can be air dried on rhe balcony. We haven’t cooked dinner in the kitchen, but all the utensils and equipment is there. Checking in and out was easy and the free parking spot was right outside the building so our car was easily accessible. The pool and liungechairs were lovely and we appreciated the privacy you have in this quiet neighbourhood. Bonus: a lot of kittens and cats in the area! 😊

The shower needs a thorough cleaning of the grouting with bleech or anti-mould detergent.

Daniel’s apartment was clean, comfortable and had everything we needed in terms of space, a washing machine, a well equipped kitchen for cooking, and best of all, a beautiful balcony view, as well as a lovely (seasonal) pool area. The host was very friendly as well.

It would be a great place to stay if you had a car or your own transport. There are limited resources in close proximity on foot with the nearest supermarket, beach (though we’d recommend the beaches further away), and bus stop each being around 15 mins walk through what can feel like a relatively abandoned area. Split Old Town is c30-40 minutes travel time, depending on bus timings.
