Villa South Cliff

We had an amazing stay in South Cliff. The host Stipe was lovely & so accommodating. Our flight was super early but we had the nicest surprise when we landed and the villa was ready! It was very comfortable and clean and had everything we needed.

Everything was great with the villa. If I had to pick I'd say we could do with more hangers for clothes but that's really only a minor point. It's a little far from restaurants or shops so a car would be helpful but we got ubers no problem and they weren't expensive.

The property itself is spacious, clean and has brilliant facilities. The pool is refreshing along with places to sit including sun loungers. The host provided towels including pool towels. There were plentiful utensils and glasses if you fancied cooking at home. The host himself I cannot fault, he was prompt with replies and answered any questions including providing recommendations for locals shops, travel around Split and places to eat/visit. The property is situated slightly out of split but Uber was mostly reliable and was only a short taxi ride into split. We took a run behind the property and left down to a beach promenade where there is a place to eat, drink and a beach club (Mistral) that we went to for one day and would highly recommend and we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves!

The property is approximately a 20 minute walk from any shop and when self catering this will need to be pre-planned during the heat and how much you want to buy.

We had a great stay here, the host was very quick to respond to any messages. We went as 2 families and the girls loved the pool. We had a lovely welcome gifts of biscuits and sweets. The apartment is absolutely lovely, it is an Uber drive from the old town but lovely walking distance to 2 of the beaches and the new promenade that is being built.

Not that we didn't like but we did have little leak in the back right bedroom en-suite from the boiler which the host was with us within 10 mins to sort. Also the main bathroom, the hot water wasn't the greatest, didn't last for 1 shower so we all tended to use the 1 shower in the en-suite in the bedroom to the left.

Wir (drei Paare) hatten einen sehr schönen Aufenthalt im Ferienhaus. Die Lage ist ruhig und angenehm. Ohne Mietwagen kommt man bestens zurecht: Uber funktioniert zuverlässig und unkompliziert, Lebensmittel können bequem über die Tommy-App bestellt werden. Die Preise sind insgesamt human – manches günstiger als zu Hause, anderes etwas teurer. Ein kleiner Supermarkt ist aber auch fußläufig in ca. 10 Minuten erreichbar. Außerdem gibt es in rund 15 Minuten zu Fuß einen tollen Pub mit sehr guten und preiswerten Speisen. Der Vermieter ist ausgesprochen nett. Wir wurden persönlich empfangen, haben eine kurze Einweisung bekommen und konnten ihn jederzeit unkompliziert per WhatsApp erreichen. Alles in allem ein sehr empfehlenswertes Ferienhaus – ideal auch für eine Gruppe wie unsere, die Split entspannt und ohne großen Aufwand genießen möchte.

Der direkte Meeresblick ist zwar durch eine Wohn- und Pflegeeinrichtung versperrt, das war uns aber durch vorherige Bewertungen bekannt und daher für uns völlig in Ordnung.
