Warm and welcome stay

We arrived to this lovely hotel, there is a private parking. Natalina welcomed us,explained all we needed to know. The room and shower were nice,big,warm and had all we needed. Breakfast was simple but good and Maria was very friendly and spoiled us. The hotel was very close to the Christmas market so it was wonderful for us. Thanks you so much for everything!

It was a great stopover in Aosta.

The location is great, a short walk to Aosta center, with parking. The building and the room had rustic elegance and ambiance. The hosts are very cordial.

The room was rooftop, and it was a rather hot summer day. The air conditioner needs recharging service.

Lovely, family-run hotel at walking distance from the center and free parking.

The lovely couple that runs this place basically built it themselves. You see that reflected in all the lovely details, like the beautiful woodwork, the names of the rooms, etc. Very nice! Breakfast was fine. You feel that the owners want to make sure you have everything you need. I brought my own oatmeal flakes, but that's just because I don't like sweet things like cornflakes and such, which is common to find at a breakfast in Italy. The hotel is small, family-run, and very close to the city center. We liked Aosta more than we expected!

The only reason we didn't give a top rating was because we found that the mattress was too soft. Of course, this is personal, but we would have slept better if the bed had been more comfortable. Furthermore, nothing to complain about!

I can’t really explain, it was so beautiful, everything was well thought out, there was nothing lacking, just a pity we only stayed the one night and not able to make use of all the facilities. Definitely stay there again. Wonderful Thank you to the owner. x

Great position to the main tourist area, very friendly helpful staff ( even with language barrier) spotlessly clean with fabulous shower, comfortable bed and good breakfast. Great parking .

I loved the room. I thought the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. I liked the wifi (though it dipped out once or twice late a night when other folk returned from their evenings out). I loved the location in relation to the centre of the beautiful city of Aosta. I would wholeheartedly recommend this guest house to all my friends and family!

A perfect stay in a lovely building, and in a great location.

There was nothing which we didn’t like. Everything was excellent. The lady who served at breakfast was absolutely lovely too! We would not hesitate to stay there again en route to Italy from France.

Great location and a fantastic breakfast

This hotel is perfectly located for a visit to Aosta, with the main street being about 5 minutes walk away with a few bars, shops and restaurants. The room had a sauna and hot tub and was spotlessly clean. Free parking on site and easy to find by sat nav. The room was large and the bed very comfortable. The breakfast was exceptional and the staff very friendly. I would recommend a stay at this hotel.

Best place to stay in Aosta

Perfect location, walking distance to old roman city, Helpful personell, and the breakfast waitress was not only beatiful, she was helpful and serviceminded. She helped us book transport, gave us info abot the winery we visited and on top of that a delicious breakfast. Loved the rooms !! Will come back.!!

Lovely place located close to the center of Aosta Old Town.

The staff were outstanding, and breakfast was good. We had the room on the ground floor which was cozy but a little small. It had a door to a private entrance but no windows. The staff were terrific in helping with laundry and questions about access to town and the hotel has its own private carpark. 10 min walk gets you into town.

Wished we had a window. Would book upstairs next time.

Excellent stay. Vecchio Mulino is proudly run by the owners Maria and Domenico. Very gentle, so hospitable. Vecchio Mulino is a warm cute B&B, close to Arco Augusta and the city centre of Aosta, Our room was beautifully decorated. Breakfast is served in a wonderfully decorated underground area. It is very generously and fondly prepared by Maria who makes sure that all is well and fresh. We also highly appreciated free private parking. Grazie Maria & Domenico

Friendly hosts in fabulous B&B.

Domenico and his wife were fabulous hosts and the guest house was very quirky and beautiful, we loved the decor. Breakfast was fabulous, plenty to eat and various different things to eat.

A wonderful stay in a lovely guesthouse with lovely hosts

- Maria and her husband are wonderful hosts. Although they don’t speak English with the help of Google Translate we were able to welcome us and provide recommendations for meals out etc. - The breakfast was very generous - fresh fruit, cereals, continental options, lots of fresh pastries and fresh coffee. - Great location - a couple of minutes walk into Aosta (which turned out to be a lovely town) and parking onsite. Although on a fairly busy road it was completely sound proof inside. - Really lovely comfortable bedroom which was spotlessly clean
