I do not understand the negative reviews for this hotel. First, service was impeccable. Everyone was friendly and helpful - I especially appreciated the kindness of the older woman with the glasses. The hotel is beautiful and impactful on entry. The location is a straight road to the old city and very convenient. Rooms were cleaned to perfection and everything was as we needed, especially as a family of four. I loved the frankincense smell in the rooms. The pool was heated and fantastic! Breakfast was delicious and worth the 10€ a day, without question. WiFi worked well, and the "hotel dogs" wandering around were the best! I loved our stay and would recommend this hotel, with my eyes closed.
My only complaint is that I've never been asked to wear a swim cap in a four star hotel before - thankfully, they provide them if you do not have. Be sure to ask for a robe on arrival, too.

The rooms were big and comfortable and everything was very clean. The two women at reception were extremely helpful and friendly and I noticed that they spoke French, Italian and English (maybe some others too). It's about a 15 minute walk to get into the "old town"/centre where most of the shops and restaurants are.
The photos make the hotel look more modern than it actually is, the hotel is a bit more worn than it appears (but still clean and maintained). For that reason, I felt that the rooms were quite overpriced. Although most of the reception staff were lovely, the man who worked behind the desk was not particularly helpful or friendly.

The location for exploring Aosta was great. The hotel itself was perfectly passable, but it did seem a little dated. All staff were excellent and very helpful.
The pool facilities were disappointing, and as such the value for money was lower than expected. The outside pool seemed tired, the inside pool was very tiny, and the hot-tub was cold.

Room size is OK BUT the bathroom size is too small - was not able to open the door and reach the toilet/bidet properly :)
Clean room, thank you for the cleaning service. Great location, the view is perfect.
TOO POOR breakfast: there were no vegetables at all - this is not the 4* breakfast choice for sure. On Sunday we had a breakfast at 9:30 - there were no eggs, no pancakes, no sausages already and they did not bother to add food for people.

It was a beautiful and welcoming building. The staff were very helpful.
We booked this for the outdoor pool but when we arrived it was in the process of being filled up and so out of use. There was very limiting drinks menu. Especially wine. It was either house white or house red.

Stayed various times over the winter, great hotel, good breakfast, good value, pool small but more than ok. Short walk into the centre of town

Very spacious rooms that were spotlessly clean and well equipped. Bed was comfortable and all the linen soft to the touch. The staff were friendly and professional - and multilingual. The pool and spa outside were so agreeable, especially with the 34° heat !
Nothing, we all had a great stay, thank-you!

The hotel was in a good location, a 5minute walk from the old part of the town- which is well worth a visit!! The pool and spa are a bonus also.
The reception staff could have been more helpful and courtious, and explained a bit more about the hotels facilities and the town’s virtues!

Pros: Good price, exceptional parking, easy to access, walking distance to centre, almost decadent big premium room, nespresso coffee machine
Cons: view depends on which side you are facing. Ours was fantastic if you like looking at petrol stations and road networks. Reception is in the basement good for novelty, dogs roaming free inside and out, soundproofing non-existent luckily our neighbours had short conversations & short showers, shower head smallest-ever & shower screen base super mouldy. Don’t park in the underground parking, it’s spooky to say the least, we came back out.
For an extra star: receptionist could have given us a choice of a room with a view. Recommend? Yes. Would we come back? No.

good for a short cheap stay
pool facilities were dirty, breakfast was being cleared before it was meant to end, smell of dog in hotel was not good with the two large dogs at reception, hotel room didn’t have robes to go to pool, also outside town and with all road works it’s not easy to walk into town from hotel

Poor soundproofing, we could hear the TV next door and traffic outside! The breakfast was disappointing, with very basic options and terrible service: we had to wait for 20 mins for the staff to replenish the few choices offered at the buffet and it was chaotic as the hall has been poorly setup. Also it is a dog friendly hotel, however the owner’s dogs are roaming the halls freely and do not tolerate other dogs hence there is a lot of barking and poor behaviour on the dogs part. The indoor swimming pool is very small and the hotel charges for a bathrobe and slippers.

quad room is very spacious and clean, bathroom is big and clean.
inside pool is a very good addition to this hotel, especially in winter time.
location is very good, just few minutes drive to the city center/supermarket/fast food/pharmacy ect.
free onsite parking.
bed is not very comfortable for me.
on a 3 nights stay, during daily housekeeping, we only got water one day, and coffee was replenished only one time.
breakfast is basic buffet, in my opinion it's not worth the 10 euro.
