nice b&b in the heart of aosta.

excellent location, 30 meters from the center of Aosta. the hostess Flavia was very helpful and friendly with a lot of knowledge of the area. breakfast was fine if not very opulent. .

the spiral staircase to the rooms is not convenient and very narrow. our room was in the first floor, almost at street level and a beat noisy, but the nights were quiet parking is at the streets nearby because the b&b is on ZTL, you have to carry your bags on foot a 150 meters .

She was knowledgeable in the local places that had gluten free options. Location is perfect for exploring the walking center of the city.

Comfortable and great location but beware of luggage

The room was excellent and the facilities are in top conditions. The bed, a very important item is excellent, except for the cheap pillows.

No elevator and this can be a real problem if you carry heavy luggage. Instead you have a very narrow spiral staircase so this should be stated up front! For Older family members this is not suitable. Especially a handycapped person. Need a do not disturb sign.

A gorgeous place to stay in the center, near the ski lifts with a wonderful host.

This place is wonderfully located, in the pedestrian zone of the town and very close to the gondola. My room was simply wonderful, very tastefully decorated and stylish and a large balcony. It was also super quiet. But the best feature of Aymon de Challant is the host Flavia - she was so amazingly helpful and attentive with anything I needed or questions I had. The breakfast was delicious and Flavia would explain how all the items at breakfast came from the local area. I wanted to stay longer, but had to move on to the next part of my journey. I would definitely come back.

Amazing discovery, what a charming place

Most of all, the personal attention and efforts by the host to make our stay as nice as possible. Not only accomodated she all our requests for arrival and room, she also was very informative about what going on in Aosta and where to go visit and shop. Last but not least, the personalized breakfast is exceptional, both in quality and quantiy. This BnB is a true gem!

Superb

nice location in the center of Aosta city to be able to take a dinner within 2 minitues on foot. Breakfast is pretty good to enjoy handmade bread and several kind of assortment.

Parking night mare

Parking is a night mare. Drove around trying to find a place to park.Finally parked on main street. Walked around looking for the place. Had to ask at a bar and the woman took us there. No number or sign on the building. Flavia said the sign was a work in progress. The host Flavia gave 2e coin for parking overnight on the street as I only had 3e. When we checked out she asked for the 2e back. Very inconsiderate after what we had gone through. Never did understand were the parking was. She said something about the train station. Nicely renovated old building and good breakfast. For the $135 a night it just wasn't worth the hassle. Should have just gone to hotel with parking.

Soggiorno incantevole ad Aosta

E' stata la nostra prima volta ad Aosta e la realtà ha decisamente superato le nostre aspettative. Splendida città racchiusa fra le montagne, resa ancor più bella dall'atmosfera natalizia. Il B&B di Flavia ci è piaciuto tantissimo: camera grande, spaziosa e pulita, presente ogni comfort possibile, il bagno spazioso e completo di tutto. Flavia ha saputo curare ogni minimo dettaglio, dall'accoglienza alle varie indicazioni e informazioni sulla città, e di questo non possiamo che ringraziarla. Ci torneremo senz'altro. :)

Comfort e gusto in centro ad Aosta

Ottima dislocazione per un soggiorno ad Aosta, tutto il centro è raggiungibile comodamente a piedi. La suite è ampia, il letto molto comodo e la stanza silenziosa, inoltre il bagno ha una doccia fantastica, con vari tipi di idrogetti. Ottima la pulizia. La proprietaria è super gentile, ci ha anche fatto omaggio di piccole dolcezze gastronomiche di produzione locale. Assolutamente consigliato

Degli scuri alle finestre, almeno in camera, aiuterebbero per chi è abituato a dormire al buio perchè comunque un po' di luce filtra nonostante i tendoni, e magari un tavolinetto nel salottino.

Molto rilassante e piacevole

La struttura è piccola e centralissima ciò nonostante è vicina sia ai parcheggi a strisce blu su strada che parcheggi al chiuso. Questo è un plus non da poco per le strutture che si trovano in pieno centro storico. Altro punto a favore sono la disponibilità della proprietaria della struttura che ci ha illustrato, oltre alla camera stessa, anche le possibili attività da fare ad Aosta

La struttura è piccola e all’interno di un edificio storico molto bella, la cosa su cui presterei attenzione è la scala a chiocciola in pietra che porta alle stanze, molto stretta e ripida, sulla quale non c’è l’antiscivolo.
