Our hosts were responsive & very helpful, meeting us very late at night to show us how the doors & everything else worked. Communication was excellent. The apartment is a real little gem with high vaulted ceilings & some beautifully exposed stone walls. Kitchen area is compact with a great coffee machine, bedroom & common seating area are a good size. Bathroom is well equipped. Location is excellent, near Gelateria Pellegrino, where you get lovely pastries & ice creams.

Room was clean, spacious, nice renovation, 10min walk from central station, 1 min walk from Alibus stop, tourist attractions, shops and restaurants are all 5-15min walk.

1) Many daily necessities were lack and had to buy them. There's no hand soap, dish soap, sponges, kitchen paper or napkins, coffee, salt, pepper etc which other apartments had. She didn’t seem care when I messaged her “I can't wash dished because I can't find dish soap." She just said “It run out” and that was all. I’ve been traveling Italy 7 weeks with staying different apartments, but this was the first time I felt inconvenient and lack of hospitality. 2) Smallest shower, I’ve ever seen in 40 countries. It was ok for me (5’4 skinny girl), but if you are a man or a big person it will be a problem. 3) Neighbors can be very loud. They slam their doors doesn't matter midnight or early in the morning, chatting very loudly in front of the bedroom. It distracted my sleep almost everyday. (Usually I can sleep anywhere) 4) I didn’t like that she tried to sell me Mt.Etna tours FOUR TIMES (when I booked, before I check in, after I checked in, during stay). Even I didn’t ask anything about it and didn’t show any interests. I felt it’s like a travel agency try to sell specific tours. 5) She also offered me (again, I didn't ask) pick up service for €20. I didn’t use it because it’s only 10 min walk from the train station, 1 min walk from the Alibus bus stop.
