Winter wonderlamd holiday place in nature

Wow

A true lapland experience in a beautiful location close to Inari but in the forest. Sauna and fire 🔥 were amazing and living room very cozy. There were also reindeers to feed, a beautiful trail just close to the house and a lot of things to do. Marko was a very kind host. A special place ✨️!

Nice little cottage in the middle of nature

- The location is perfect, in the middle of nature but close enough to the center of Inari - The cottage is quite big and well equipped - The sauna - Reindeers coming at the door everyday 🥰 - The fireplace - A trail path passing by the cottage - Easy to walk to the city center (20 mn in the snow)

- The mattress is very thin and you can feel the springs of the spring-bed - There's a perpetual beeping in the house, you need to sleep with earplugs - Just so you know, Marko asks you to pay a strong price for every little service : >> 15€/pers for towels + bedlinen (it's notified on Booking, you have to dig a little to find the information) >> 50€ the bag of reindeers food, if you want to feed them in the courtyard >> 100€ for the cleaning if you don't want to take out the trash in the city center by yourself >> 250€ if you lose the key or lock yourself outside because it's an autolock door... Apparently Marko doesn't own a copy of the key and would need to replace the lock

Relaxing time surrounded by wildlife

Marko picked me up from Inari as I didn't know where the property was. Got a guided tour of the place. Excellent atmosphere, lovely wooden interior. Reindeer, hares and red squirrels all come to visit the Garden.

Weather. When it was sunny it was amazing, but it can rain for days on end in the summer. Although not really the properties fault.

Very convinient base point for work or family missions. :)

We stayed here for three times during this spring. House was equipped with literally everything, especially kitchen. Sauna is very convenient. Wildlife is right out there, reindeers and hares came to visit quite often. :) Location is great, Siida museum and Nature Center are 10 min walk away, Juutua river nature trail is also very near. Host is very friendly and helpful person, it was a pleasure to communicate. :)

Nothing major to be mentioned, washing machine maybe needs some care. :)

just an amazing chalet in the middle of the forest for a true Lapland experience. Very spacious with all the amenities that you have at home. it is your home away from home. Patrick the owner was very kind and helpful.

A snowy fairytale

The place was in the middle of the forest and was exceptionally silent and relaxing. With the car, you can reach the closest supermarket, opened until 22 every day, in 7 minutes. The city center is about 6 minutes by car and you can find everything you need there! The owner, Marko, answers every time in short time and helps in case of need, whatever happens! He’s very friendly and has a good heart. The house is a 2 floor cottage with every comfort you can dream of: lot of lights, fireplace, sauna inside, every commodity in the kitchen and in the bathroom, a very nice and cozy leaving room… the perfect place to hide when the Finland weather decides to be particularly cold and strong to handle with! Furniture is super nice, every detail is well thought. You’ll be in the middle of forest and you won’t miss or regret being outside the city. We even saw the northern lights from the cabin, even despite the trees. Marko leaves on the table a depliant in which you can find all the infos about emergency numbers, supermarkets, tank stations, how to use the facilities in the house and how to book Northern lights tour experiences, Husky safaris or Snowmobile experience… The cottage and the organizations in it both went like a lot over our expectations and we were gladly surprise to live in such a place! We will never forget this experience. We are very grateful to Marko for hosting us and making our experience so unique ❤️

everything was exceptional, the only little thing was the washing-machine who gave us a bit of trouble( it blocked every 10 minutes and we needed to press the button to unblock that a bit more times than expected).

I really liked the location. Also, the property was beautifully built and had good space for kids to play. It had wood for fireplace and food for reindeer also.

3ème semaine de Mars / Emplacement dans les bois à côté d’un magnifique chemin de randonnée. Tout les soirs le chalet était cerné par les Aurores Boréales

Maison reposante

La maison était très propre et très bien équipée. En plus de tout le nécessaire à l'intérieur de la maison, Marko met également à disposition une luge, un traîneau et des raquettes. L'environnement se la maison est génial. : magnifique, calme et un sentier de randonnée passe juste à côté. Nous avons observé des aurores boréales depuis le logement, c'était chouette.

Il faut savoir que la 2ème chambre est une mezzanine. Cela ne nous nous a pas gêné mais ça peut être utile de le savoir avant. Nous n'avons pas eu la chance de voir les rennes 😞, malgré les conseils et la nourriture mis à disposition par Marko. Mais nous avons eu la visite d'un joli lapin blanc 🙂.
