A gem of a stay.

Our host Valerie, went above and beyond what was expected.. extremely polite, informative, attentive, and friendly. Breakfast was very good. (She even offered a tray breakfast for my wife when she felt poorly and didn't attend b'fast). Valerie often offered to bring our bikes in from the rain. During heavy showers. Excellent location with shops and restaurants all within a very short walking distance.. Brilliant for hiking or cycling ... the route to St Michel Mont was easy.

Highly recommend and would happily return!

The host is wonderful! Her gardens are beautiful! The breakfasts are delicious and filling! The location is ideal, easy short walks to the train station, stores, restaurants, a park, the tourist visitor center, and the hike and bike trail along the river to Mont-Saint-Michel. The accommodations are spotlessly clean and very comfortable. We highly recommend and would happily return!

Ours was a very nice stay at Le Grenier du Jardin. Our host was just delightful and we loved the overall ecelectic feel of the grounds and establishment in general, and our quarters in specific. A very comfortable and relaxing stay. And our breakfast was delightful as well.

Delightful B&B close to train station and town centre

This is a gorgeous B&B, we stayed in the attic room which was very comfortable, the bed was especially cozy. Valerie is such a lovely host, she was very welcoming and helpful and made us feel at home. The garden spaces Valerie has created are beautiful, lots of private areas for guests to relax. And the breakfast was delicious, great coffee too! I highly recommend staying here, you won’t be disappointed.

The host is a nice lady. Very helpful and friendly. Our room is big and spacious. Clean and tidy. Although the attached toilet is a few stairs down. We got use to it, not a problem at all.

Very friendly host, good value for money

Like everyone else has mentioned, Valerie is very friendly and helpful. She helped us plan our visit to Mont Saint Michel and also to take the coastal route to Saint Malo via Cancale, which was beautiful! The stay is good value for money, the garden is amazing and so is the pet chicken Josée :) The breakfast was ok. The location is very convenient with shops, bakery and restaurants nearby.

The fridge was a bit noisy at night and we could also hear our neighbours walking at night which interrupted our sleep but we mostly got used to it the second night :)

Unforgettable place, we wish we could visit again!!!

What a nice place! And what a friendly hostess! We stayed for 2 nights in an attic suite and it was perfect: Spacious room, very clean, tastefully decorated! Valerie is such an interesting, polite and fiendly person! Our son enjoyed so much feeding lovable Josée (the pet hen) with her! The property is located in an enormously interesting area on the border of Normandy to Brittany. It is really difficult to plan which place to visit and choose among all of them! And... breakfast, in simple words: delicious, ample, really french!!!

I really enjoyed my time at Valérie’s place, she is a wonderful hostess. She will give you really good advices about places to see and do around. The room was very comfortable, clean and cozy. Pontorson isn’t far from le Mont St Michel and you will have more restaurants options and nice things to see rather than staying where all the hotels are. Breakfasts are delicious and the garden is super cute. Thanks a lot 💛

The garden was beautiful and the neighborhood was tranquil. The host was very helpful. She gave me advice on my travel to St Michel and allowed me to wait for my train in her dining room. The bedroom and bathroom were comfortable and clean. The whole accommodation had a cozy and vintage style.
