Lofoten Cabins - Sund

Nice view from the living room! The living space was really comfy with a large dining table and comfy couch and lounge chairs. The deck was huge and was great for morning coffee. The location was okay since it was super close to the Reine area but you do have to turn in quite a bit to get to the apartment.

Amenities could be drastically improved. The bed was really uncomfortable and the pillows were way too flat. We had booked the entire apartment that promised 5 beds, but only got 2 sets of everything- only 1 towel per person despite us staying there for several nights, and only the bed we slept on plus 2 pillows were lined. I wanted to grab another pillow so I can add some volume to my very flat one, but discovered that none of the other pillows, comforters, or beds were lined. I ended up finding a single memory foam pillow which I swapped out the pillowcase for. We would’ve washed and reused our towels but there was only a washer and we didn’t want to risk our towel not being dry for the next use. The kitchen was lacking in basic cooking amenities like cooking oil. I believe everything was left by previous renters. At least there was salt. A couple of packets of instant coffee would’ve been nice as amenities. We couldn’t find a cheese grater. The apartment had a wood fireplace but no lighter or fire starter. When I asked customer service about it, they asked me to look for matches in kitchen drawers, and when I told them there were none, they told me to go buy one myself. This was diabolical to me as they advertised a fireplace, why would you provide a nonfunctional fireplace? They did have someone bring over a lighter after I asked them to provide one.

The cabin was a real well refursbished antique cabin with all modern requirements ! The house deck is great, wide and just in front of the water and the fishermen harbour ! Nice large entrance, large kitchen with table in the middle, ideal to have meals, cook and chat, living room in the folowing area ! Place near the most beautiful spot places of Lofoten.
