Pompelówka - chata na Głubałówce

We stayed in this beautiful house for two nights in June to celebrate my birthday, and overall we had a wonderful experience. The house is spacious, very clean, and beautifully maintained. The outdoor area is lovely and well cared for, making it a great place to relax. There are plenty of bedrooms, and almost every bedroom has its own bathroom, which is a huge advantage when traveling with a large group. The large dining table in the living room was perfect for everyone to gather together, and the kitchen is well equipped with plenty of dishes and cookware. The hosts were very welcoming and thoughtful-they greeted us with a bottle of wine and some delicious local cheese, which was a lovely surprise. Despite these minor points, we really enjoyed our stay. The house is charming, comfortable, and perfect for spending time with family or friends. We would happily stay here again.

There are just a few things future guests may want to keep in mind. The refrigerator is a bit small for a house of this size, so it’s better not to buy too many groceries at once. The driveway is located off a very busy tourist street leading to Gubałówka, so getting in and out by car-especially during the day on weekends-can take some patience because of the large number of pedestrians. We also recommend bringing insect repellent and your own shower gel. There was no shower gel in the bathrooms, and one of the liquid soap dispensers was empty, so we had to buy some ourselves. The house doesn’t have air conditioning, and the living room became quite warm during our stay. Finally, if you’re traveling with dogs, note that the property is not completely enclosed by a fence, so you’ll need to keep an eye on your pets.

The chalet was truly exceptional, beautifully equipped with everything we could possibly need. We loved spending time there, especially on the days we chose not to explore the surrounding area. The area itself is absolutely stunning, with so many wonderful things to do for all ages and in every kind of weather. Our host went above and beyond in every way, answering even our more difficult questions with such patience and helping us with anything we needed throughout our stay. We are incredibly grateful and could not have asked for a better experience.
