Villa OMNIA - Kommeno bay

Our host was very responsive and always kind. He helped with everything that we asked for. Top floor bedrooms are very nice. Great view from the garden an teras.

Downstairs rooms weren't very nice. There is only one bathroom on the top floor for 3 bedrooms. Interior wasn't feeling like a summer house. Gym area wasn't very nice.

The villa was in an excellent position with amazing views over Kommeno Bay from the entire garden, pool and every balcony. The outside areas were all excellently equipped with plenty of seats and loungers for everyone. The outside pool can also be heated to your requirements which is a big plus in October although I would ask for it to be heated in advance as it takes a few days to get up to the required temperature. The owner was lovely and couldn’t be more helpful as was Panayiotis who manages the property on her behalf. There really was nothing that was too much trouble and he even gave myself and my wife a lift to the nearest supermarket once we had checked into the villa as we hadn’t hired a car. I would say this is above and beyond and we really appreciated it as it meant we could get the villa stocked up with plenty of essentials. He even offered to come back and pick us up to take us back! We managed to get a taxi as we didn’t want to trouble him further. We all really liked the villa, it’s in a nice safe secluded area and it is a very quiet spot. I would say if you normally hire a car I would definitely hire one. Having said that we found plenty within walking distance including the main bus route that ran to Ipsos in one direction and Corfu Town in the other. The public transport was excellent and ran on time as well as being very cheap.

The only thing I would say is it’s nice to get the bus into Corfu Town and not have to worry about driving home but the walk to the bus stop can be a bit precarious as there is no defined pavement as such. Having said that the majority of drivers are well aware of this fact and drive accordingly.
