Gold Pearl Apartment 2 rooms at St Stephen' s Basilica

Apartamentul este foarte curat, spațios și are acel aer istoric specific Budapestei. M-am simțit ca și cum orașul continua în interiorul apartamentului. Locație excelentă, liniște, confort și atenție la detalii.

Totul a fost în regulă

Location, architecture of apartment, building had elevator, owner was helpful.

Apartment was cluttered with too many knickknacks, dishes & things in cupboards were dirty, lots of jars of old spices & instant coffees needed tossed. Overall, the apartment was much too hot (asked several times after check in where I first requested it be cooler) & dark. The two windows overlooked a dark courtyard. The apartment photos were taken so that the apartment APPEARED light & bright. But that was misleading & disappointing.

Sicuramente la posizione e la grandezza della casa

Non mi é piaciuto il fatto che non erano presenti lenzuola ma solo un copri materasso e piumino + coperte, e soprattutto che non si può regolare il riscaldamento che è centralizzato a 22 gradi, in alcuni momenti c’era freddino. Non ho inoltre trovato posate.

Owner obsessed with the current energy price. Whilst I understand rising energy costs in many countries I do not expect to be cold whilst on holiday. I raised the heating issue before travelling and received an assurance that the heating would be adequate and that there was no restriction on its use (eg it was not timed to come for any specific periods), however this was not the case. Radiators were only lukewarm and on very limited periods. Both myself and my daughter were cold, especially in the mornings. I am older and come from a warm country but my daughter is only in her early 30's and lives in the north of Scotland so is used to cold weather, but she found it even more unpleasant than myself. I spent my last night in other accommodation near the airport and the room was lovely and warm at all times.
