Eye of Budapest Penthouse

A nice, quiet place with a great balcony and good Airconditioning. Great host who provided us with lots of information about the surroundings prior to arrival. Everything necessary for our short stop here was provided and we didn’t miss anything.

Shower drain should be checked, water took ages to run off. Door code either did not work or we just couldn’t figure it out. But no real problem since it could be accessed by key as well.

It's in a very central location with easy access to transportation. The size of the house, the kitchen, and the rooms were all very good.

Unfortunately, the shower drain was clogged and not working properly. The room next to the bathroom hadn't been properly cleaned, and the cupboards were dusty; we had to keep our clothes in suitcases. The information about parking on the booking page is unfortunately very misleading. Under "Most popular facilities," the house features include: "Free wifi, terrace, non-smoking rooms, lift, family rooms, air conditioning, and parking." However, there is no "Parking." You need to find a paid parking lot and, if you're lucky, you'll get a spot. Parking prices are €40-€50 per day.

Great central location with easy bus access and lots of restaurants. Kitchen well stocked and overall well upgraded unit.

Very loud booming from music all afternoon and until around midnight on Friday and Saturday from the clubs. Building in disrepair and makes it feel a little sketchy. Slimy coffee machine and scale in tea kettle as others have mentioned. Some ants but not bad for us. Dishes had been wiped clean but had oil residue and had to be re-washed. Staff didn’t ever reply to two email questions over 48hrs. The place is fairly a 7.9-8.3, but not a 9.
