Timeless Boutique Suites by BQA

The hosts sent us instructions through the booking app and whatsapp ahead of our arrival. The location is great, it's right in the heart of the city with so many sights, cafes and restaurants within walking distance. It's located in a smaller street, so even though the rooms are on the 1st floor there was not much noise from outside. The room had nice modern decoration, it had a TV and an AC as well which is great!

The size of the room is very small, there's literally not enough space for a chair next to the bed. It also was likely my mistake but I thought I'm booking a conventional hotel but it's more similar to an aparthotel where you pick up the keys from a keybox then find your room. We arrived late at night and it was a bit tricky to find the lockbox inside the old building where the accommodation is located. Lastly we booked and paid for 2 guests, but we only got one key card and when I requested a second one it would have only been possible at some extra cost, which is a small thing, but still I felt like it probably should have been included if I booked in two guests.

There was an issue with the breakfast booking: breakfast was paid for, but it wasn’t provided. The hotel gave no explanation.

Excellen location. Privacy

I liked how clean it was in the room, they could do something else to the entre and the building when you first enter. The first thing you see is trash cans and nothing about the building looks nice at first sight but the room was a lot nicer than what the outside looked like

The entrance and the fact that there’s no light in the hall and you can’t see at night. Also it was not very soundproof, there wasn’t that much noise but you could definitely hear if there was. It’s like the door wouldn’t close all the way and it felt like you didn’t have any privacy
