Mory House

Friendly hosts, beautiful neighbourhood, amazing breakfast in room, close to the beach and high street, quite. Every details of the house carefully thought through by the hosts. What else you need? Maybe a bit of more storage in the room and bathroom, but it is England, right?

Breakfast was exceptional best that I have ever had in a hotel. Jane and Patrick was very knowledgeable about the local area and full of advice and they were very friendly. I will be going back.

The bed was a little bit hard, slightly harder than I am use to and room was hot during the day, it was 27 C outside therefore not unreasonable,

Very warm welcome when we arrived. The room was really nice and included a fridge, coffee machine together with the necessary pods plus a milk frother. kettle, lots of different tea bags. It also had a table and two dining chairs as the amazing breakfast was served in your room at your chosen time. So many choices for breakfast and all very good they also included a gluten free and vegan menu which had lots of choices.

There was nothing to dislike it was amazing

The staff were very friendly. nothing was too hard for them,all done with a smile on their faces. place was super clean, food was plentiful and there were some good choices.

nothing to not like, we will be telling our friends to stay there for years to come.

This place is a gem ,very clean very close to shops and beach ,lovely friend couple what own it ,loved the breakfast in your room , would stay here again

A nice quiet location

Extremely comfortable bed, amazing food, welcoming hosts, great location, lovely balcony, excellent room.

Everything was great.

The breakfast was incredible (I mean it) and so timely. A very nice touch for you to eat in your room. Hosts were warm and helpful. Very close to the beach as well which is quiet and clean. I read the previous reviews of Mory House so frankly I expected nothing less. Would recommend twice over.

The house was beautiful and clean and the hosts were welcoming and friendly considering we were guests in their house we were allowed total privacy at all times. delivered to our room every morning was a delicious breakfast of great choice. we stayed in a room with a lovely little terrace over looking the lovely garden it was a great place to stay so peaceful and relaxing.

Location was excellent: near the sea, quiet neighbourhood, available parking if one drives Hosts were excellent: both Patrick and Jane were friendly and welcoming Breakfast was fantastic: Jane's cooking was on spot. I've had different meals for breakfast on the 2 mornings I've eaten there and they were delicious. The menu is also varied and one has lots of options. Room (this was the one on the ground floor) was excellent: cozy, comfy, quiet.. the perfect place to rest and recharge after a full day of activities Miscellaneous: As Bournemouth is quite windy (and I've visited at the end of Feb, which was chilly), one late evening I'd wanted to make myself some tea with the kettle in the room (there was a rather large selection of teas available in the room) to warm myself up. Unfortunately, the kettle had a few bits on its inside that needed scrubbing out. I couldn't really wash the kettle in the bathroom (the sink was tiny) and I'm certain that Patrick and Jane would've helped but it was quite late to bother them. Not an issue at all.. had a hot shower (great pressure and temperature) and then helped myself to the delicious cake left in the hallway which was made available to us (that was an excellent and delicious touch! thank you)

This is not a big issue and it really stretching the "didn't like" section of the review... I was really grateful for the coffee machine in the room. However, being used to the Nespresso machines, the Bosch one provided in the room output a rather burnt coffee with the first capsule I tried. However, on the second try, the "Americano Smooth" was decent.

The room was very well appointed. The breakfast was superb and the facilities were excellent. We were very grateful for the complimentary items in the fridge and the excellent tea and coffee making facilities. The hosts were very helpful and welcoming.

Both my son and I found the beds very hard. So much so that we struggled to sleep. If you don’t mind hard beds, then maybe this won’t be an issue for you. I also found the wash-basin in the bathroom quite small and tricky to use, but maybe that’s because we are both tall. There were no surfaces anywhere in the bathroom to put anything down, which in combination with the small wash-basin made it a little awkward for us to use in general.

Breakfast was superb, wide choice of food, beautifully presented.

Lovely property. Well located. Excellent breakfasts and really enjoyed the ability to eat them in our own room.

Breakfast was very good plenty of choice and delivered to the room . Covid precautions. The best selection of teas and coffee I have seen in any place I have stayed in.

Breakfast was awesome. The berry sundae and the banana split were fantastic. And then there were the other 20 choices...We got to eat breakfast on our balcony which was superb, sitting in the maroon (favourite colour) provided dressing gown.

WiFi. Never mind.

The breakfast was excellent. I particularly liked the Greek yogurt with pistachios and the Granola. The bed was very comfortable.

The sloping ceiling. The shower was very cramped.

Breakfast. It was served in the bedroom . I personally prefer, breakfast in a dining room. Great choice of food .though .! However , I prefer a traditional breakfast. ( not keen on well done streaky bacon .)

The location was perfect for the beach and handy for restaurants and shops. The hosts are lovely and friendly and breakfast being delivered to our door was amazing with plenty of options for all dietary requirements. The whole place is beautifully decorated with everything you need in your room and fresh cake in the lobby every day. We will definitely return.

We both loved how welcoming and well organised it was, as young women we felt safe and secure and it felt homely with lovely hosts. The breakfast was delicious!

This is a teeny tiny niggle but it would've been nice if there would've been some kind of safe box to store valuables in when we went out (just in case something happened). But again it's only a teeny tiny niggle as everything else was exceptional :)

Loved our stay at mory house, it’s spotlessly clean lovely bedding and towels and lovely friendly owners the breakfasts are one of the best we have had cooked to perfection and lovely and fresh lots of different options too we had it in our room because of covid but this was no problem at all with table and chairs we like it this way. there was ample different teas coffees in our room some little extras too in the fridge (nice touches) We ordered a platter one night and this too was beautiful So would really recommend mory house to anyone and hopefully we will be back soon x Paul and rachael from Doncaster xx
