A lot of money for what it has to offer

The location

The apartment looked older than in the photos. The bathroom was outdated, with rusty faucets and drains. In the kitchen, there were marks on the ceiling from an old water problem, and the paint was peeling off. The bed in the bedroom made a lot of noise whenever you turned.

Please be aware - I suspect a lot of the honest reviews are removed as this property is not deserving of all of the excellent reviews. The property is not as advertised. One plus is the location, that is very good.

This property is not at all like the photos. Generally unclean, shower head mouldy, grubby and very uncared for. The bed mattress is old, stained and very thin. They have not bothered to equip it properly so the bedside ‘tables’ are just old bar stools that look like they’ve been rejected from a closed down pub. The sofa feels like a plank of wood. We asked to cancel once we arrived as it feels like a scam, but heard absolutely nothing from the property who then cancelled our stay a few days after it ended. No responses at all since.

Very basic flat in a central location of the old city

Location is good and the flat was clean. the location is quiet. There is a coffee machine.

The flat is basic, only functional to make it livable for a couple of days and there is nothing charming. Everything is more or less in plastic, the ceiling of the bathroom is partially damaged. The sofa bed is so uncomfortable and the fridge is next to it. Impossible to sleep. In addition there was a sewer smell in the flat. They responded it was everywhere in the city. The communications with the company is so confusing with too many messages sent by email before arrival, and the final message was: we had to rate them with 9 or plus!

Perfect location and very enjoyable stay.

The BET Apartments office is on the ground floor, so we were able to call in and then were advised where the entrance to the apartment was. It was very convenient to have a code for the main entrance and also then the keysafe box outside the apartment, making it feel very secure. The location in the old town is excellent, within walking distance of all the main tourist attractions and many restaurants. The apartment was clean, bed was comfortable and the kitchen was well-stocked with glasses, mugs, cutlery, cookware etc. BET staff were very helpful and friendly, allowing us to check in a couple of hours early as the apartment was ready and also leave our bags after check-out until we needed to go to the airport. All in all, a great experience.

As other reviews indicate, there is some noise from other apartments but it did not bother us too much as we slept soundly after all the walking! The apartment is an ideal size for a couple but it is quite compact, and not sure the sofa bed would be overly comfortable for extra guests.

Great apartment to enjoy the sights of Valencia

We loved the location of the apartment. It is in a quiet neighbourhood with a Consum small supermarket round the corner and plenty of lovely little cafes and bars a short stroll away. All the major sights in the old part of Valencia are within a 30 walk of the apartment yet access to the Turia Gardens is just across the road from the Consum. We rented bikes are cycled through the park to the beach. The apartment has everything you need for your trip and very good communication from the hosts. Very straightforward to find and get access to the apartment.

Location is great. Staff great. But wouldn’t stay here again unfortunately. I had a bad stay.

I think the apartment that I stay in needs some work done to it. It’s pretty run down. The bathroom needs some work big time. Rotten wood door frames from the water damage from the shower. They need new shower screens to keep the water inside the bath tube.

Run down. Needs some work done. Starting with the bathroom. Cigarette burns in the couch. Also needs a really good clean. In terms of noise it was horrible. It was party time with the neighbours when I stayed there unfortunately.

Lovely fully fitted apartment in a great location.

Great location and a cute apartment with lots of facilities. Marta was excellent with her communication and we really appreciated the early check in. Amy small issues were dealt with immediately. We had a balcony, washing machine, dishwasher, stove, cooktop and fridge to use and although we didn’t use everything it was impressive. We were close to everything in the centre but it was quiet at night. A lovely stay.

Very pleased with our choice.

A very nice appartement, near city center (some 10 minutes walk to the Cathedral). The place was spacious enough (we were three adults), had enough towels and kitchen was fully equipped. Nice balcony as well. The personnel was polite and available, very helpful to solve any issues we might have had.

It was OK: street location on the traffic path was a major disappointmernt but we adapted.

My girlfriend and I spent 10 nights in the Studio apartment. It was clean and new towels were supplied twice during our stay along with two garbage bags. The bedding was changed once. The space is fairly large and the bed and sofa comfortable. The cookware and dishware were adequate. The location was very good; all the main attractions are in walking distance if you are a good walker. Walking through the street of Valencia is a real treat and it was a short walk to the Mercado Central and many restaurants. The staff was nice and responded quickly when the electricity went out.

The main problem with the Studio is the ground floor location which meant the privacy was severely compromised when the two sets of windows (one set of windows were in the entrance doors) were open for much needed natural light and ventilation by the street traffic which was almost all pedestrian. Also, the street drain by the front door did emit sewer gases - not too bad but definitely noticeable. There is no city view as listed and the neighborhood garbage bins are the only view. Try to get the apartments on the upper floors which really look nice.

Comfortable stay in city center

In the city center (old town) are with fully equipped kitchen.

They use a water boiler, the hot water runs out quickly and it takes a lot of time to reheat. It's difficult for 2 persons to take a shower one after the other. The shower gel dispenser was broken and it was filled with liquid soap, not shower gel/shampoo (the cleaning lady told us).

It was big enough for 1-2 people and had all you needed. My apartment looked out onto the street and it caught the sun around 3pm every day, which was great to be able to sit out and watch the world go by. It’s in a great location and the staff were extremely helpful and available.

Great stay in a great apartment.

The apartment is closely located to main tourist attractions and restaurants. It was also very clean on arrival and well equipped. We enjoyed sitting on the little balcony. The cleaning starter pack and condiments were very useful, thank you.
