Rafting Camp Encijan

This is one of the most memorable and magical places we have ever stayed. We were in one of the small, basic bungalows next to the river. Now, first I should say that if you're expecting luxury then these little bungalows are definitely not it. But if, like us, you love to be in nature and getting away from modern life, then I cannot recommend Encijan highly enough. The little bungalows, with their five beds (and nothing else inside) and their nearby shared toilet and shower block, were cozy and close to the river. From the moment we arrived, the lovely owner (Milan) and his team made us feel incredibly welcome. Our two teenage girls loved the friendly dogs. We stayed for four nights and would have happily stayed longer. We did white water rafting, went to another nearby site for horse riding, swam in the river, and just escaped. We ate all out meals in the camp and the homemade, traditional meals were amazing! Others have said this, but getting there from the Montenegro side involves showing passports at the border, but not crossing it (not crossing the river), and instead driving the winding road that follows the Montenegro side of the river to a car park, where we left the car and were picked up by raft for the short hop over to the Bosnian side and the camp itself. Days spent in nature and having adventures along the stunning Tara river, organised by the most friendly team. Evenings spent playing games with the kids around the fire pit. I guess it depends what you're looking for...but for us - it doesn't get better than Encijan. We will be back for sure. Thanks to all at the camp for making us feel so welcome!

Nagyon gördülékeny volt a kommunikáció e-mailben és WhatsAppon, minden információt megkaptunk előzetesen a szállásról. Romantikus környezetben található, innen indult a rafting is. Az étkezés finom és bőséges volt. Megérkezéskor rakijával köszöntöttek, ami nagyon kedves helyi szokás. A raftingozás is jól sikerült, profi és szimpatikus volt a kapitány a tutajban.

A szobában jó lett volna ha van dugalj, hogy tudjunk telefont tölteni. Sajnos a recepción lévő wifi sem működött, és mobil térerő is elég kevés volt, de digitális detoxhoz kiváló hely. A mosdókat kicsit alaposabban kellene takarítani.

Non abbiamo mai preso la colazione per cui non possiamo dare una valutazione. Le cene sono abbondantissime e spesso non siamo riusciti a mangiare tutto. La qualità del cibo è ottima. Milan, Milos e Tark sono disponibili e gentilissimi. Il rafting è stato molto divertente e piacevole, tre ore lungo il fiume tra le emozioni delle rapide e la tranquillità dei tartti più facili. Per spostarsi dalla struttura è necessario avere un passaggio sul gommone e Milos è sempre disponibile a qualunque ora. Nella torrida estate questa sosta è stata una oasi di frescura e di piacere. Un vero peccato dover andare via.

Forse il WiFi non è robusto ma siamo in fondo a una vallata molto stretta e immagino che il segnale abbia foti limiti indipendenti da loro.
