Amaya Beach Passikudah

This is our second stay at Amaya Beach Passikudah. The resort is very well managed, with attentive and hospitable staff. The service provided, especially during breakfast and dinner, could not be faulted - in particular, thank you to Tharinda, Shakila and Yasas, who were very obliging with our requests. Food was generally delicious and am impressed they were able to maintain variety in the buffet dishes despite being there five days. Additionally, the rooms are modern, spacious, comfortable and clean. The beaches near the hotel are decent to swim in, as is the hotel pool. Will certainly return!

Only complaint is that the pool can get a little too warm on a hot day.

The location is amazing: right at the beach front. The property is large and green. The pool is great for small children as well; there’s sufficient space with limited depth. The rooms were spacious and had a large bathroom as well, excellent housekeeping. Food is good and they have a cosy bar under the veranda.

In general, we were very pleased with our stay. We were underwhelmed with the kids club: the room smells quite damp, there’s no supervision or organized activities; even no pencils and papers freely lying around for the children to play with. Given the amount of children staying in the hotel, they could make so much more of this.
