    Good hotel and probably convenient if seeking Western food options for children or if you are not keen on or want a break from Sri Lankan food. For us, as a well-travelled couple really enjoying delicious Sri Lankan food and interactions with local people, it was a bit less of a personal experience than other places we stayed at. Resort feel, tour groups? Depends what you are after?

    Overall, it was a very good experience. I spent two nights here. Location is great, room was fine. The pool was also nice. Negatives - Service was slow, we had to wait long for getting water bottles and the drinks was expensive in the bar

    The place is beautiful, but unfortunately the service was disappointing. The staff were rude and even seemed to be counting the bottles of water. We were traveling with kids, and when we asked for water, they were unwilling to provide it, which was frustrating. At the pool, there were no towels available, and it was difficult to find a free sunbed. We also ordered food from the restaurant, and it took about 45 minutes to arrive. Overall, the property itself is beautiful, but the poor service made our experience much less enjoyable.
