Nicely layed out. Great water pressure in shower. Rooms are modern.

Location was far from restaurants Bed sheets very thin.

El Kamrel Sigiriya transmite desde el primer momento un ambiente familiar muy agradable. El personal es sin duda uno de sus grandes puntos fuertes: desde recepción hasta el restaurante, todos fueron amables, atentos y con ganas de ayudar. Las habitaciones son muy amplias y los colchones son cómodos. En cuanto a la gastronomía, tanto el desayuno como la cena buffet ofrecen buena variedad y a un precio muy razonable. Los cócteles también estuvieron a la altura, ideales para terminar el día. La piscina está limpia y bien cuidada, rodeada de una vegetación exuberante que le da un ambiente casi selvático muy especial. En conjunto, una opción muy recomendable para quienes buscan un hotel con buen ambiente, buena relación calidad-precio y una ubicación privilegiada cerca de Sigiriya. ¡Volveríamos sin dudarlo!

We enjoyed our stay at Hotel Kamrel Sigiriya. It is a good and decent hotel for the price. The hotel has a large green territory with many separate cottages, and plenty of trees that provide shade, making it comfortable even during hot weather. The whole place feels very peaceful and in harmony with nature. There is also a swimming pool, which is great for relaxing after excursions. We especially enjoyed the local wildlife around the hotel. Sometimes monkeys and palm squirrels run around the property, and you may even see small geckos in the room. Once, we also found a grasshopper and a frog — unexpected, but actually quite cute. 😊 The staff were very friendly and welcoming. They helped us organize a safari trip, where we were lucky enough to see elephants — one of the highlights of our trip. The location is also convenient, and it is easy to arrange a tuk-tuk or taxi to nearby attractions, like Lion Rock. Breakfast is a standard American breakfast, and sometimes there is a buffet available. We were also pleasantly surprised to receive a complimentary dinner upon arrival, which was a very nice gesture of hospitality. Overall, this is a peaceful place to stay close to nature and the main attractions of Sigiriya. We would recommend it.
