Cordial salutations from the personnel, particularly Erico, the receptionist on the initial day. The location is superb. Access to all areas downtown or via the metro is merely 4-5 minutes away from the principal attractions.
Perhaps breakfast could commence sooner, around 6:30 AM. Given that numerous excursions begin at 8:00 AM, we aim to have satisfied our hunger prior to embarking on the day's activities during our stay. Typically, the accommodations we've frequented have offered breakfast service starting at 6:00 AM or 6:30 AM. :)
-no boiler or kettle in the room, it may not be as convenience to many elderly, as they have to approach the breakfast area to grab it. Imagine in the midnight, or emergency, you need the lukewarm water for medicine.
The location is excellent, though it is quite close to the less desirable aspects of the local area. Exercise caution if you are traveling solo or returning to the hotel late.

The location was excellent - well situated in an interesting and beautiful area, with easy travel links across the city. The staff were amazing, very friendly and accomodating, and gave tips on places to visit. The room was clean and well appointed overall, though be prepared - the shower may be totally visible from the bed as it was in our room.
Overall the room was very good, especially for the price - the key thing to mention is there was not a lot of power sockets in the room (we had 4). The AC was also a bit tricky - the vent was angled in such a way that it blew directly onto the face of the person on the left of the bed. It also didn't have a "maintain" setting, so it would cycle every few moments between on and off after a temperature was reached, which could be quite annoying.

Everything was really good: the mattress, the pillows, the fact that hot water is ready 3 seconds after turning the shower on, but what really stands out is the people who work at Hotel La Paloma Boutique. Service is number one factor why we will come back when we make another trip to Barcelona. Excellent location too!

Great location
Staff smiled a lot but actually not so helpful. They didn’t replace an item of mine broken by them. Felt as if they were just pretending.
