Cosy Belgian country cottage

Lovely house, which was well appointed. The owner was very friendly and gave us some good tips on nice places to go. It had everything we needed to have an enjoyable week. There was a lovely farm shop in the village which sold a good variety of food and had a lovely pumpkin patch to pick your own pumpkins. Our little grandson loved doing this. The house was well equipped for our grandson, having a cot, baby bath etc which made life a lot easier for us. Parking outside the house was good, the village was very quiet, perfect for a relaxing week.

There was nothing really to dislike about the house. The only issue we had was that on the stairs, there was no outer handrail and it was open to the floor below. This was a concern as our grandson likes to go upstairs on his own now and we just had to be extra vigilant and keep a close eye on him. Obviously, this would not be an issue if you had no children with you .

nice and cozy and affordable family house

very nice place to stay with the family. Namur en Mons are closeby. The owner of the house had some tips and touristic folders in the house. He recommended le bois du Cazier, a mining museum, which our children liked a lot. The neighbors have cats and dogs which was a great bonus for our children! I forgot my earrings and the owner sent those for free to my house which I really appreciated!

everything was perfect: soap, towels, nespresso coffee etc. The only thing which can be improved (but we are spoilt at home) is the couch to sit in the evening. It's also a bed but because I am too small, the bank is too wide for me.

En excellent place to stay if you either want or need to be in the area

We used the gite for a particular reason and it was excellent for our needs. We took all our food with us and some kitchen equipment for which there was absolutely no need as the gite was excellently equipped - same with linen.

Very nice house. Very comfortable kitchen. Well decorated living room. A lot of touristic information available. Good tips for restaurant and walking .

We booked late night and the host was amazing called me straight away has gave us all the information we needed on where to get groceries and stuff like that from I’ve red some of the negative comments on here I’m still at the property now and I can’t say anything negative amazing property amazing place lovely host we will be back in the near future 5************ Thanks Host and family 💙

Old house , loud noices!

Nice decoration , cozy and big sattelite Tv. The bathroom fully utillated as well as the kichen.

The top floor makes oufull noice everytime someone walks. It can be really disturbing in the middle of the night.The temperature on the top floor was a bit to low and increasing the heating temp did not fix it . They should give at least one free cofeee( 1 small 30 ml nesspresso / 50 cent)

Schöne Aufenthalt in einem tollen Haus

Das Haus liegt außerorts, in einer sehr ruhigen Gegend. Garten ist schön gepflegt und grün. Das Haus ist mit einer modernisierten Architektur eingerichtet. Alt mit Neu ist gut gelungen und harmonisch verbundet.

Der quetschende Boden vom 1.OG. ist sehr laut und störend. Sobald einer oben ist oder nachts aufstehen muss, sind alle im Haus wach.

Een sfeervol, schoon en compleet ingericht verblijf op een rustige locatie, met een hartelijke ontvangst en uitstekende

We verbleven met ons gezin (twee volwassenen en twee jongens) één nacht in Gîte La Malavisee vanwege een basketbaltoernooi in de buurt; en wat een fijne ervaring was dat! Vanaf het begin verliep de communicatie met de beheerder uiterst prettig en persoonlijk. Bij aankomst werden we hartelijk ontvangen en kregen we een uitgebreide rondleiding door het huisje. De host nam echt de tijd en gaf ons een goede tip voor een lokale biologische supermarkt vlakbij, waar we de volgende ochtend heerlijk ontbijt hebben gehaald. De accommodatie zelf is rustig gelegen en straalt rust en netheid uit. Alles was perfect in orde: het huisje was schoon, sfeervol ingericht en van alle gemakken voorzien – van handdoeken tot koffiecups. De prijs-kwaliteitverhouding is werkelijk uitstekend. Voor ons was dit een ideaal adres voor een kort verblijf, maar ook voor een langer verblijf zouden we het zonder twijfel opnieuw boeken. Een absolute aanrader voor wie op zoek is naar comfort, rust en gastvrijheid!

Le logement était conforme à la description très propre, très bien équipé et très beau ! Nous avons été agréablement surpris par le logement dans lequel nous reviendront avec grand plaisir. L’hôte a été très gentil je recommande à 100 %

Heerlijk weekend gehad en mooie dingen gezien!

Gezellig, aangenaam huisje, rustig gelegen. Super goed bed. Mooie dingen te bezoeken in de omgeving. Vooral Bois Du Casier ( ook goed restaurant op deze site) heeft ons zeer bekoord.

Vanuit het huisje kom je niet direct in de natuur. Bossen zijn niet ver weg, maar wij hebben toch een stukje de auto genomen.
