Best stay of my 10 day trip home in Belgium.

Absolutely everything. Nanou is amazing. Amazing welcome with a beer, sitting outside in the beautiful surroundings. Not much of a dog person but I enjoyed her dogs. Rooms were comfortable, restroom was clean and well-appointed. A 5-minute walk to town. I recommend taking the slightly longer walk around old world neighborhoods to get to the Grand Place. Breakfast at Nanou’s is the best in town. Lots of fresh, local products. Will definitely stay again.

Friendly and welcoming hosts, who went out of their way to prepare breakfast for me, despite a very early departure. The accommodation is comfortable and homely.

Christine and Phillipe were the perfect hosts, a welcome beer on arrival, fantastic choice of breakfast every morning, very nice people and a fantastic house, close to all amenities, very safe place to leave my motorcycle. Truly highly recommended, Thank you Christine and Phillipe.

Aangenaam verblijf

Vriendelijk en hulpzame gastvrouw. Bij ontvangst hebben we samen een Chimay bier gedronken. Ontbijt was goed en voldoende. Tuin wordt mooi onderhouden. De gastvrouw heeft ook 2 grote lieve honden. Er is ook plaats om te parkeren. de foto's op booking komen overeen met de realiteit. Het verblijf bevindt zich ook vlakbij centrum Chimay.

Heel familiaal en leuk, zou er meteen terugkeren.

Heel vriendelijk persoon, heel prettig in de omgang, kan je alles aan vragen, alleen is er enkel een frituur op 300m van de B&B (is dus geen hotel zoals op jullie website wordt beweerd), en moet je voor restaurants naar het centrum, op zowat anderhalve km, wat soms iets ver kan zijn om te voet te doen als men al de hele dag te voet en met het openbaar vervoer reist. Anderzijds, het ontbijt was heel uitgebreid, heel familiaal, en hetgeen zij niet meer kon gebruiken voor een volgende klant kreeg ik mee gratis, en ze voerde mij nog naar het dorp omdat er niet zoveel tijd was om de bus te kunnen nemen naar Charleroi, om dan van ginder richting Doornik te rijden...

Als ik al een opmerking zou moeten geven, dan zou ik zeggen dat de TV niet meer werkte (naar behoren), en dat de Wifi iets sneller zou mogen zijn, maar voor de rest is alles volledig naar wens verlopen. Het enige wat mij wel opviel is dat het een stapelbed was in de kamer, dat komt zelden voor, en dat er een comfortabelere stoel ging mogen zijn, met leuning, in de kamer, omdat het anders niet zo comfortabel is om te zitten op een tabouret voor personen met rugklachten. Misschien nog 1 detail die vermeld mag worden, er zijn daar 5 heel vriendelijke honden aanwezig, in wezen doen ze niets die honden, maar misschien voor mensen met een allergie aan honden beter melding maken van het feit dat ze er zijn, voor kinderen moet men niet bang zijn, het zijn allemaal grotere honden, zoals duitse schapers en zo (ken er niets van, van al die rassen) maar ze zijn uiterst vriendelijk, net als de bazin...

Nanou était ivre à notre arrivé. Une salle de bain pour 4 chambres. Trois chiens qui aboient la nuit et n’arrêtent pas de monter et descendre les escaliers. Du pain sec au déjeuner. Nous avons écrit à la dame pour qu’elle puisse présenter ses excuses mais elle a juger que ce n’était pas nécessaire.
