Talalla Bay Beach House

Fantastic breakfast each morning, with fresh fruit, coffee or tea, and toast with jam plus a great variety of extras like pancakes/“hoppers,” eggs, homemade yoghurt, and more. Each evening, Nilmini surprised me with a lovely dinner; since I don’t eat meat, she prepared delicious meals with fresh fish and a wide variety of vegetables. I felt truly well taken care of, and she also helped me book tuk-tuks for sightseeing, transfers, massages, and more. It was a very relaxing, calm stay right on the beach, and I hope to return soon

Nothing really. The bathroom is quite simple, and the Wi-Fi comes and goes, but everything is clean and works well, and honestly, the limited Wi-Fi almost added to the relaxed vibe. ( If you need to download something or have an important meeting, you can go to the resort next door) At first, I felt a bit unsure about safety since you want to keep the windows open for fresh air. Still, I quickly realised the property is well guarded 24/7, so there’s nothing to worry about except the cheeky monkeys trying to steal your bananas!

Il est difficile de laisser un commentaire sur un lieu aussi particulier, presque intime, tant on a envie qu’il reste confidentiel. Tout était magnifique, mais surtout profondément juste. Cet endroit ne cherche pas à plaire à tout le monde : il résonne avec celles et ceux qui savent ce qu’ils viennent y chercher. Pour ma part, je cherchais le calme, la sérénité, l’ancrage, le retour au flow. J’ai été plus que comblée. L’accueil, la bienveillance, la présence de Nilmini, d’Iresha et de Wimale, la sagesse du lieu, les arbres, les repas… tout est empreint de simplicité, de soin et d’authenticité. Je m’y suis sentie comme à la maison, entourée, portée, presque comme si une famille — ou une mère — veillait sur moi. Un lieu rare, qui se vit plus qu’il ne se décrit. Merci pour cette parenthèse précieuse

S’il fallait vraiment citer un point que je n’ai pas aimé : le séjour était trop court (15 jours). Je serais volontiers restée encore.
