Hostal Oliveta

Excellent location - plenty of great little bars and shops as well as metro and buses to get anywhere in the city. Also very close to the airport shuttle bus stops. Room had air con that was quiet and would run non-stop; it was very easy to control if we wanted it warmer or colder. Bathroom was equipped with everything we needed and fresh towels and bottles of water were available each day. Overall amazing!

Nothing!

Clean room and bathroom, much exceeded expectations in that regard. Room has everything you mostly need - sheets, towels, soap, shampoo, haidryer etc. + everything is check daily by the hotel staff. No noises from the outside. Great location within less than 5 minutes to metro station (which can take you almost to any sightseeing in city without transfering in under 30 10-20 minutes), within 3 minutes there are many grocery stores, convenience stores or some fastfood and restaurant places, which all of them are open till late evening.

Staff was rude via messages - instead of navigating us to everything needed, they just responded if we even read the messages and that "its easy" to understand (but it was just missunderstanding and missinterpreting some words they wrote). Later they gave us the codes to hotel and our room, but as they were worded, it didnt work for the first time and the code was actually a little different. Kinda chaotic. But no problem after that. AC was a little noisy, but manageable.

Location, staff, and space were great! On our departure later in the day, we realised we had forgotten our power adapter in the room. Although unstaffed at that particular hour, the staff called us, guided us on how to find keys to a staff department, and guided us to our power adapter the cleaners found! Can’t thank them enough for their care and efforts. Will be back one day!

Everything was nice and as described

Reasonable location in a well connected part of Barcelona.

No contact with the staff as everything was done by messages. No staff on site as everything was closed.
